Rawleigh's Restitution.

L. 1a. AN Act for Restitution in Blood of Carew Rawleigh.

Mr. Hackwell, Mr. Rolles, Sir Jo. Hothame, Mr. Harris, Sir Har. Grimston, Mr. Hambden, Mr. Tichborne, Sir Tho. Barrington, Sir Will. Constable, Sir An. Corbet, Mr. Corbet, Mr. Fettiplace, Mr. Earle, added to the Committee for Explanation of a Branch of a Statute of 3 Jacobi: - To meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, in the former Place.

Recusants.

Recusants Children : - This Afternoon, former Place.

Charge against Ld. Mohun.

Sir Jo. Elliott goes on with his Report, which was Yesterday begun, and interrupted.

The Lord Mohun to have Notice given him, that he may be heard, to make his Answer to this Charge, if he will. This to be done against To-morrow Morning. - This offered to be done by Sir Fran. Anslowe.

Mr. Noy, Mr. Rolles, Mr. Hackwell, Sir Jo. Elliott, Mr. Selden, Mr. Littleton, Mr. Herbert: These Seven are appointed by the House, to draw up a Charge against the Lord Mohun, and present it to the House; and are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Exchequer Chamber.

Privilege.

A Servant of Sir Guy Palmes arrested: Upon Question, to have Privilege.

The Keeper and the Serjeant that arrested him, to be sent for, to answer their Contempt.

Petition of Right.

A Message from the Lords, by Mr. Attorney and Serjeant Bartley : -

The Lords have taken into Consideration the last Message of this House: Resolved to join with this House, in their Desire to the King, that he would be pleased to give his Assent to our Petition, in full Parliament. Have sent some to his Majesty, to know his Pleasure. -

Bills from Lords.

Have sent down Two Bills: One, concerning Apparel: 2. Mr. Lowe's Bill.

Mr. Speaker went out of the Chair.

King appoints to be attended.

Mr. Attorney General and Serjeant Berkeley bring from the Lords a Message; That the Lords, who attended the King for his Answer, are returned with this Answer: That his Majesty is graciously pleased to be attended by both Houses, at Three Clock this Afternoon, in the Banqueting House, there to receive our Petition :

Conference.

And, to agree of a Form of delivering it, desire a present Conference, in the Painted Chamber, by a Committee of both Houses.

Answer returned; We will give them Meeting accordingly.
