L. 2. The Bill touching Fines and Recoveries, though the Original be lost. - Mr. Sekford.

Bills from Lords.

Three Bills brought from the Lords by Mr. Serjeant Carus and Mr. Attorney; (viz.) Bankrupts;

Stafforde made Denizen; Reformation for Sheriffs, Under-sheriffs.

Suit to the Queen, to marry.

Mr. Secretary and Mr. Vicechamberlain declared, that the Queen's Majesty is by God's special Providence moved to Marriage, and that she mindeth, for the Wealth of her Commons, to prosecute the same. Mr. Chancellor of the Duchy, and Mr. Comptroller, affirming the same, persuaded by their Advice to see the Sequel of That, before further Suit touching the Succession.

After long Arguments by divers Lawyers, to re-continue the Suit, to get the Queen's Answer; Order was taken, that the Privy Council, with Forty-four of this House, should meet To-morrow, to consult, in what Manner Suit may be made to the Lords, to join in this Matter.

Subsidy.

A Declaration made by Mr. Secretary of the Rates of a Subsidy, and One Fifteen, as in the last, but further Days of Payment.
