Skynner, charged with procuring Process to arrest Elcocke, Sir Edw. Dennys' Man, knowing him to be, and long to have been, his Man; and saying, that Sir Edw.
expected to have his Scullion-boy and Kitchen-maid privileged, where none were to be so, but Attendants upon his Person; and why he made [the] Redshankes to arrest Elcocke; being brought to the Bar, confesseth, he knoweth Sir Edw. Dennys a Member of this House: Confesseth, he caused Process to be taken out against Elcocke, but he knew not then, he was Sir Edward's, Man : Denieth, he was privy to the making the Redshankes special Bailiffs : Denieth any such Words, as charged with.
Scott, called in, justifieth, Skynner, upon Wednesday, said to him, that, if this Man had Privilege, Sir Edw. might then privilege his Scullion-boy and Kitchen-maid.

Sir Edw. Coke: - That nothing resolved at the grand Committee for Grievances; but inclined, that the Letters Patents, 1o and 2o Ph. et Mar. and the Act of Parliament, 8o Eliz. extended not to this.
Resolved, To let this alone till To-morrow Morning : And Mr. Alderman Molson and Mr. Alderman Clitherow, as of themselves, to move the Company, in the mean time, to yield the Hull and Yorke Men, for this Year, 500 Ton of Shipping, upon the same Terms, as they had, by Mediation of the Lords of the Privy Council, last Year; and to bring their Answer To-morrow Morning.
