Prayers.

Privilege.

A COMPLAINT being made to the House, That one Henry More, as Plaintiff, and Wm. Armstrong, and * Williams, as Bailiffs, had arrested one Tristram Drummond, a menial Servant to Henry Guy, Esquire, a Member of this House, and carried him to Prison, where he is still detained; notwithstanding they were informed he was the said Mr. Guy's Servant, in Breach of the Privilege of this House;

Ordered, That the said Henry Moore be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, to answer the said Breach of Privilege.

Ordered, That the said Wm. Armstrong, and * Williams, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, to answer the said Breach of Privilege.

Ordered, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House do go to the Prison where the said Tristram Drummond is; and demand his Discharge out of Prison.

Ailesbury Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ for the Electing of a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Ailesbury in the County of Bucks, in the room of Sir Thomas Lee, Baronet, deceased.

Tiverton Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do grant his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to issue out a new Writ for the Electing of a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Tiverton in the County of Devon, in the room of Samuell Foot, Esquire, deceased.

Ludlow Election.

A Petition of Tho. Hanmore and Wm. Gower, Esquires, was read; setting forth, That, on the Fourteenth January last, the Petitioners were duly elected for the Town of Ludlow in the County of Salop; yet notwithstanding, the Bailiffs have made a Return of Colonel Titus, and Fran. Lloyd, Esquire, contrary to the Right of the said Election: and praying the Consideration of the House in the Premises.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to the Committee of Privileges and Elections: Who are to examine the Matter thereof; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Hindon Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do grant his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to issue out a new Writ for the electing a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Hindon in the County of Wilts, in the room of Thomas Chaffin, Esquire, deceased.

Adjournment.

Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer acquaints the House, That he was commanded by her Majesty to signify her Pleasure to the House, That both Houses should adjourn themselves to the Twenty-eighth Day of April now next ensuing.

And accordingly the House adjourned until Tuesday the Twenty-eighth Day of April now next ensuing, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning.
