Prayers.

Ease of Jurors.

ORDERED, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill for the Ease of Jurors, who serve at the Assizes for England and Wales: And that Mr. Waller do prepare, and bring in, the same.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Morland have Leave to go into the Country for Three Weeks, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Ordered, That Sir Michaell Cole, who attended this Day according to Order, do attend this House To-morrow Morning at Ten a Clock.

Clippers of Coin.

Mr. Waller, according to Order, presented to the House a Bill for the better Discovery of Clippers of the Coin of this Kingdom: And the same was received; . . . . . .

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Fleming have Leave to go into the Country for a Fortnight, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Encouragement of Sheriffs.

Mr. Waller presented to the House a Bill for the better Encouragement of Sheriffs in the Execution of their Office: And the same was received; and read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Insolvent Debtors.

The House proceeded upon the Report of the Bill for explaining a former Act for Relief of poor Prisoners.

And the Amendments made by the Committee to the said Bill, were severally read a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Ways and Means.

The House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supplies to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet, and for Maintenance of the LandForces, for the Service of the Year 1694.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had come to a Resolution; which they had directed him to report to the House, when the House would please to receive the same.

Ordered, That the said Report be made To-morrow Morning at Ten a Clock.

Sir Thomas Littleton also acquainted the House, That he was directed by the said Committee to move, That they may have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Saturday Morning next, at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supplies to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet, and for Maintenance of the Land-Forces, for the Service of the Year One thousand Six hundred Ninety-four.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
