Prayers.

Papists Protestant Heirs.

Sir John Bolles reported from the Committee, to whom the Bill for preventing Papists from disinheriting their Protestant Heirs was re-committed, as to Clause C, relating to the same, That they had considered the said Clause; and amended the same; which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was twice read; and, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

And the Bill was also amended at the Table.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Linen Manufacture.

An ingrossed Bill for encouraging the Linen Manufacture of Ireland; and the bringing in Flax and Hemp into this Kingdom; was read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for encouraging the Linen Manufacture in Ireland; and the bringing in Flax and Hemp; and the making of Sail-cloth in this Kingdom.

Ordered, That Mr. Molesworth do carry the Bill to the Lords, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Laws respecting Marriages.

Colonel Perry reported from the Committee, to whom the Bill for enforcing the Laws for restraining Marriages without Licences: and for registring the Births of Children; was committed: That they had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

And the Question being put, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed;

Ordered, That the Consideration of the Report from the Committee, to whom the Bill for regulating Abuses, relating to garbling Spices, Drugs, and other Merchandize, was committed, be adjourned till To-morrow Morning.

Supply Bill; Salt Duties and Land-Bank.

Sir Thomas Littleton, according to the Order of the Day, reported, from the Committee of the whole House, to whom the Bill to continue to his Majesty certain Rates and Duties upon Salt, for carrying on the War against France; and for taking off the Duties of Tonage upon Ships, and upon Coals; and for establishing a National Land-Bank; was committed; the Amendments, made by the Committee, to the said Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then, several of them, a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, some of them were agreed, and others disagreed, unto by the House.

Ordered, That the further Consideration of the said Report be adjourned until To-morrow Morning.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Miles Cooke and Mr. Pitt:

Mr. Speaker,

Preventing Export of Wool.

The Lords have agreed to the Bill, intituled, An Act for the more effectual preventing the Exportation of Wool; and for encouraging the Importation thereof from Ireland; with some Amendments: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House:

Greenland Trade.

And also have agreed to the Bill, intituled, An Act for the better Encouragement of the Greenland Trade, with some Amendments: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

And then the Messengers withdrew.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
