ORDERED, That a Message be sent to the Lords, to put them in mind of the Bill, intituled, An Act for the more easy passing Sheriffs Accounts, and Execution of their Offices: And that Mr. Colt do carry the said Message.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived.

Rogers' Estate.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Richard Holford, and Mr. Pitts:

Mr. Speaker,

The Lords have passed a Bill, intituled, An Act for vesting in Thomas Rogers Gentleman an absolute Estate of Inheritance, in Fee-simple, in the Manor of WestCourt, Mansion-house, Messuages, Lands, and Hereditaments, in the County of Kent; and securing to John Higgons Gentleman, and Alice his Wife, and (for Portions for) Irene, Margaret, Mary, and Alice Cesar, Monies, in lieu of their Claims thereunto: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Exporting Watches.

An ingrossed Bill to explain the Act, in the Seventh and Eighth Years of his Majesty's Reign, intituled, An Act to encourage the bringing Plate into the Mints, to be coined; and for the further remedying the ill State of the Coin of the Kingdom; so as to give Leave for the exporting Watches, Sword-hilts, and other Manufactures of Silver; was read the Third time,

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for the exporting Watches, Sword-hilts, and other Manufactures of Silver.

Ordered, That Sir Thomas Mompesson do carry the Bill to the Lords, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Escapes of Debtors.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee, to whom the Bill for the further Relief of Creditors in Cases of Escapes; and for preventing Escapes, and other Abuses in the Keepers of Gaols; was re-committed; be made upon Saturday Morning next.

Exporting Wool, Fullers Earth, &c.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee, to whm the Bill for the more effectual preventing the Exportation of Wool to Scotland was committed, be made upon Saturday Morning next.

Jenkin's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill to enable John Jenkin Merchant to sell some Part of his Estate, for the Payment of his Debts, was read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act to enable John Jenkin Merchant to sell some Part of his Estate, for Payment of his Debts.

Ordered, That Mr. Brewer do carry the Bill to the Lords, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Preventing false Election Returns.

Ordered, That the Committee of the whole House, to whom the Bill for making more effectual an Act, made in the Twenty-third Year of the Reign of King Henry the Sixth, for remedying false and undue Returns of Members of Parliament; and also to prevent Double Returns; have Power to receive a Clause to enlarge the Time for delivering the Precepts to the Cinque-Ports, for making their Elections of Members to serve in Parliament.

Supply Bill; Hawkers and Pedlars.

The House, according to Order, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Bill for licensing Hawkers and Pedlars.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Norris took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Norris reported from the said Committee, That they had gone through the Bill, and made several Amendments thereunto; which they had directed him to report, when the House will please to receive the same.

Ordered, That the Report be made To-morrow Morning.

Suppressing Profaneness.

Then the Managers went to the Conference upon the Subject-matter of the Amendments, made by the Lords, to the Bill, intituled, An Act for the more effectual Suppressing of Blasphemy and Prosaneness.

And, being returned;

Sir John Philips reported, That they had given the Lords the Reasons for disagreeing to one of the said Amendments; and left the Bill, and the Amendments, with the Lords.

Ways and Means.

Then the House, according to Order, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supply granted to his Majesty.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Tho. Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had come to several Resolutions; which they had directed him to report, when the House will please to receive the same.

Ordered, That the Report be made To-morrow Morning.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
