Prayers.

Lustrings Trade.

AN ingrossed Bill for the better Encouragement of the Royal Lustring Company; and the more effectual preventing the fraudulent Importation of Lustrings and Alamodes; was read the Third time.

And several Amendments were severally proposed to be made to the Bill; viz.

Pr. 8. L. 8, to leave out "and," and insert "or," instead thereof.

Pr. 9. L. 7, to leave out "was," and insert "shall be," instead thereof.

L. 8, to leave out "had," and insert "hath," instead thereof.

And the same were, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House; and the Bill amended accordingly at the Table.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for the better Encouragement of the Royal Lustring Company; and the more effectual preventing the fraudulent Importation of Lustrings and Alamodes.

Ordered, That Sir Rowland Gwyn do carry the Bill to the Lords, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Message relating to Impeachments.

Resolved, That this House, To-morrow Morning, take into Consideration the Message from the Lords, relating to the Tryal of John Goudet, and others, upon the Impeachments against them.

Supply Bill; Poll Tax.

Sir Thomas Littleton, according to Order reported, from the Committee of the whole House, to whom the Bill for granting to his Majesty an Aid, by a Quarterly Poll, for One Year, was committed, the Amendments, made by the Committee, to the said Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House; which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, some of them were disagreed, and the Residue agreed, unto by the House.

A Clause was offered, to be added to the Bill, That all Auditors, Reeves, or Receivers, of his Majesty's Feefarm Rents, shall allow 3s. for every Pound they shall receive of every Tenant so paying the same, without Fee; on Pain of 20l. to the Party grieved, to be recovered as other Penalties in the said Act.

And the same was twice read, with Blanks; and the Blanks were filled up:

And then the Clause was, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Supply Bill; Raising Annuities. [New E. I. Co. incorporated.

The House, according to Order, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Bill for raising a Sum, not exceeding Two Millions, by settling a perpetual Fund for Payment of certain Annuities, after the Rate of 8l. per Annum for every Hundred Pounds, and by further Advantages therein mentioned, redeemable by Parliament.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Tho. Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Tho. Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had made some Progress in the Bill; and had directed him to move, That they may have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, To-morrow Morning, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the said Bill.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
