Provision of Monies.

The Order Yesterday made for taking the Provisoes (returned by the Lords, at a Conference) to the Bill for the speedy Provision of Monies, &c. was read: And the House accordingly proceeded to the Debate of those Provisoes.

Resolved, upon the Question, That this Part of the Proviso shall not be assented unto (the Proviso sent down from the Lords, concerning the Taxing of themselves).

Resolved, &c. That this Proviso sent downfrom the Lords, concerning the Five Ports, shall not be as sented unto.

THE Articles of the House of Commons, in the Name of themselves, and of all the Commons in England, against Sir John Brampston, Knight, Lord Chief Justice of the Court of King's-bench, was read.-

Aboloshing Episcopacy.

That the Sub-committee for the Bill concerning Episcopacy, shall have Liberty to retire into the Court of Wards, notwithstanding that the House sit.-

Impeachments- Judge Brampston.

Resolved, upon the Question, That these Articles thus ingrossed, and now read, shall be sent up to the Lords, as the Commons Impeachment against Sir John Brampston, Knight, Lord Chief Justice of the King's-bench.

The Articles of Impeachment against Sir Francis Crawley, were now read.

Provision of Monies.

Justice Foster and J. Heath brought from the Lords, the Bill for the speedy Provision of Monies for disbanding the Armies, &c.; with some Amendments.

The which Amendments were twice read; and then, by Resolution, upon the Question, the House assented to the Amendments. And it was ordered, that the Bill should be amended accordingly.

Impeachment of Judge Davenport.

The ingrossed Articles of Impeachment against Sir Humphrey Davenport, Knight, Lord Chief Baron of his Majesty's Court of Exchequer, were now read.

Resolved, upon the Question, That these Articles, thus ingrossed, and now read, shall be transmitted to the Lords, as the Impeachment of the Commons against Sir Humphrey Davenport, Knight, Lord Chief Baron of his Majesty's Court of Exchequer.

Persons sent for.

Resolved, upon the Question, that George and Thomas Smithson, Vintners, shall be forthwith sent for, as Delin quents, by the Serjeant at Arms attending on this House, for not appearing upon divers Summons from the Committee for Recusants Convict:

Collectors of Poll-money.

That Sir Robert Pye conceive an Order concerning the Collectors, &c. of the Poll-money.

Ld. Loftus' Petition.

The humble Petition of Adam Viscount Loftus was this Day read; and ordered to be referred to the Committee for the particular Irish Affairs, where Mr. Pym has the Chair; to examine and consider of the Proofs that the Lord Viscount Loftus is able to make, that the Parties, mentioned in the Petition, were Parties to that illegal Decree, whereof he has heretofore complained of in the House: And to report to the House, how they find the State of that Business.

Lord Mountnorris.

The like Order granted for the Lord Mountnorris, concerning such Persons as he can make Proof were present, aud Party to the Sentence of Death pronounced against him at a Council of War, and formerly complained of in this House.

Resusants Arrears.

Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Sir John Francklyn, Mr. Glyn, Mr. Pym, Sir H. Mildmay, Mr. Whitaker, Sir Arthur Ingram, Sir Robert Pye, Mr. Wheeler, Mr. Selden, Mr. Solicitor, Sir John Hippesley, Mr. Hampden, Mr. Knightly, the Citizens of London: That a Commission shall be directed to these several Gentlemen, to be Commissioners for inquiring after the Arrears of Recusants.

Transporting Gold.

Ordered, That the Committee for the King's Army, to the which the Business concerning Transportation of Gold is referred, do meet on Monday next at Two post meridiem, in the Treasury-chamber; to consider of the State of that Business, how it stands; and to report it to the House.
