Die Mercurii, 29 Julii, 1646, Die Publicæ Humiliationis.
ORdered, That Mr. Allen do, from this House, give Thanks to Mr. Carill, for the great Pains he took in the Sermon he preached this Day, at the Intreaty of this House, at St. Margaret's, Westminster, it being the Day of Publick Humiliation; and to desire him to print his Sermon: And he is to have the like Privilege in Printing of it, as others, in the like kind, usually have had.
Ordered, That Sir William Armyn do, from this House, give Thanks to Mr. Whittacre, for the great Pains he took in the Sermon he preached this Day, at the Intreaty of this House, at St. Margaret's, Westminster, it being the Day of Publick Humiliation: And that he be desired to print his Sermon: And he is to have the like Privilege in the Printing of it, as others, in the like kind, usually have had.
Ordered, That Mr. Long do, from this House, desire Mr. Calamy to preach before the Commons, at St. Margaret's, Westminster, next Fast-Day.
Ordered, That Mr. Miles Corbett do, from this House, desire Mr. Boroughes to preach before the Commons, at St. Margaret's, Westminster, next Fast-Day.
Mr. Sallwey is appointed to return Thanks to Mr. Herris, for the Sermon he preached at the Burial of Doctor Twisse, late Prolocutor of the Assembly of Divines; and is to desire him to print his Sermon: And none is to print it, but such as he shall appoint under his Hand.
