Prayers.

Answer from Lords.

SIR Gilbert Gerard brings Answer, That the Lords do agree to the Order for Addition of Maintenance to the Minister of New Brentford; and to the Order concerning Captain Campbell; the which he carried to the Lords Yesterday.

Millington's Claims.

Ordered, That the humble Petition of Mr. Gilbert Millington be referred to the Consideration of the Committee where Mr. Dodderidge has the Chair, to consider of and examine his Losses; and to report their Opinions for some Way for his Relief and Satisfaction.

Scotts Officers.

Resolved, &c. That the Petition and Report concerning divers Scotts Officers, that have served the Parliament, be read, and considered of, peremptorily, on Tuesday Morning next, the first Business: And that no other Business do intervene: And that Mr. Speaker do put the House in mind hereof.

Mr. Stapilton

Mr. Bryan Stapilton is appointed not to begin his Journey to Scotland, till after Tuesday next.

Declaration of Non-Addresses.

The House proceeded to the Consideration of the Declaration expressing the Reasons of making no further Application to the King.

Resolved, &c. That these Words, "among other things," be added in the Clause that relates to the Commons Charge of the Duke of Bucks, in secundo Caroli.

Resolved, &c. That the Word "Death" be added to the said Clause.

Resolved, &c. That it be thus expressed; "the Parliament held in the Second Year of this King's Reign."

Resolved, &c. That the Word "yet" be omitted in the said Clause.

Resolved, &c. That the Clause concerning Mr. Cockran's Instructions be re-committed; with Power to the Committee, to confer with and examine such Persons as they shall think fit, touching the Truth of the said Instructions.

The Clause touching what the King did in Scotland, in relation to the securing of some great Lords there, was put to the Question; and ordered to be put out.

The Clause was propounded to the Question, concerning the King's leaving Blanks, signed with his Sign Manual, with Secretary Windebanck:

And the Question being put, Whether this Question shall be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

Ordered, That the House do, To-morrow, at Eleven of Clock, resume the Consideration of the Declaration, expressing the Reasons of no more Applications to be made to the King: And that Mr. Speaker do put the House in mind hereof.

Elliott's Arrears, &c.

Ordered, That the Committee for Advance of Monies, at Haberdashers Hall do forthwith pay unto Richard Elliott, Surgeon, who lost both his Eyes, and is lamed, in the Service of the Parliament, the full Sum of One hundred Pounds in full of his Arrears due upon his Entertainment.

The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.

Ordered, That Richard Elliott, Surgeon, who lost both his Eyes, and is lamed, in the Service of the Parliament, be earnestly recommended from this House to the Governors of Sutton's Hospital, that such of them, as have not yet bestowed their Places, may confer one upon him.

Grant to Cave.

Ordered, That Thomas Cave, of Great Okeley in the County of Northampton, who lost both his Eyes in the Service of the Parliament at Marston Moore, have the Sum of One hundred Pounds bestowed upon him, for his Support by the Parliament: And that the Committee for Advance of Monies, at Haberdashers Hall, do forthwith pay the said Sum of One hundred Pounds to the said * Cave, or his Assign.

The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.

Ordered, That the Committee of the Revenue do give Order to put into one of the Places of the Hospitals, now void at Peterborough, Thomas Cave, who lost both his Eyes in the Service of the Parliament at Marston Moore.

Publick Papers.

Ordered, That Mr. Baker, who was by the Committee employed in the collecting and bringing together divers Papers of publick Concernment, and hath taken much Pains in cataloguing and sorting those Papers, shall have the Custody of the said Papers.

Grant to Baker.

Ordered, That the Committee of the Revenue do forthwith pay unto Mr. Clement Baker, who was employed in the collecting and bringing together into one Place divers Papers of publick Concernment, and hath taken much Pains in cataloguing and sorting those Papers, and hath done other good Services to the Committee to whose Care that Business was referred, the Sum of Fifty Pounds; in Consideration of his said Service.
