ORDERED, That Sir Henry Myldmay do give hearty Thanks, from this House, to Mr. Warren, for his great Pains taken in his Sermon preached before the House, Yesterday, at Margaret's, Westminster: And that he be desired to print his Sermon: Wherein he is to have the like Privilege in Printing, as others in like Kind have usually had.

Ordered, That Sir William Masham do give hearty Thanks, from this House, to Mr. Owen, for his great Pains in his Sermon preached before the House, Yesterday, at Margaret's Church, Westminster: And that he be desired to print his Sermon at Large, as he intended to have delivered it, if Time had not prevented him: Wherein he is to have the like Privilege in Printing, as others in like Kind have usually had.

Ordered, That Mr. Love do give hearty Thanks, from this House, unto Mr. Carill, for his great Pains in his Sermon preached before this House, Yesterday, at Margaret's, Westminster: And that he be desired to print his Sermon: Wherein he is to have the like Privilege of printing it, as others in the like Kind have usually had.

Publick Fast.

Ordered, That Thursday, being the Third Day of May next, be set apart for a Day of Publick Humiliation, to be observed in all Churches and Chapels within the Cities of London and Westminster, and the late Lines of Communication, and Bills of Mortality; as well upon the Grounds of the Fast kept Yesterday, as also to implore God's Blessing upon the Forces of the Parliament already in Ireland, and that are to be sent thither: And that Thursday, the Seventeenth Day of the same Month of May, shall be observed as a Day of Publick Humiliation upon the same Grounds, in all Churches and Chapels in all other Places in England and Wales.

Ordered, That Commissary General Ireton do, from this House, desire Mr. Knight to preach before this House, at Margaret's, Westminster, the Third Day of May next, being a Day set apart for Publick Humiliation.

Ordered, That Lieutenant General Crumwell do, from this House, desire Mr. Thomas Goodwyn to preach before this House, at Margaret's, Westminster, on Thursday the Third Day of May next, being a Day set apart for Publick Humiliation.

Ordered, That Mr. Myles Corbett do, from this House, desire Mr. Veninge to preach before this House, at Margaret's, Westminster, on Thursday the Third Day of May next, being a Day set apart for Publick Humiliation.

Ordered, That Mr. Myles Corbett and Sir James Harrington do bring in a Declaration, expressing the Grounds of Setting apart of that Day for a Day of Publick Humiliation.

Ordered, That the Report touching Sir John Danvers, a Member of this House, be made the first Thursday after the Term: And that, in the mean time, nothing be done by any Committee of this House to his Prejudice.

Ordered, That the Act for New England be read Tomorrow Morning.

Ordered, That Commissary General Ireton do bring in the Act for repealing the Act for the monthly Fast, on Monday Morning next.

Relief of Debtors, &c.

Colonel Rigby reports an Act for the Enlargement of poor Prisoners for Debt, and for Relief of Creditors out of the Debtors Estate: Which was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to Commissary General Ireton, Sir Henry Vane senior, Serjeant Thorpe, Earl of Pembroke, Mr. Scott, Mr. Pury, Lieutenant General Crumwell, Mr. Blakiston, Mr. Rigby, Mr. Long, Mr. Corbett, Mr. Oldsworth, Mr. John Corbett, Mr. Attorney General, Mr. James Challoner, Mr. Thomas Challoner, Sir James Harrington, Mr. Lechmere, Mr. Love, Mr. Garland, Sir Peter Wentworth, Mr. Say:

This Committee are to meet in the Exchequer Chamber, To-morrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon; and so de die in diem; and to bring in the same into the House on This-day-fortnight, between the Hours of Ten and Twelve: And all that come to this Committee are to have Voices: And the Committee have Power to advise herein with the Judges, and such others as they shall think fit: And the special Care hereof is committed to Mr. Lechmere.

An Act for Settling of Tythes, First Fruits, Tenths, and Impropriations, for preaching Ministers, and other pious Uses, was this Day read the First time; and appointed to be read again To-morrow Morning.
