Prayers.

Leave of Absence.

ORDERED, That Mr. Hatcher have Leave to go beyond Sea, for Recovery of his Health.

Reports deferred.

Ordered, That the Lord Mounson do make Reports from Goldsmiths Hall on Monday Morning.

Admission of Members.

Mr. Holland reports from the Committee concerning absent Members, the Names of such Members as have sat in the House since the Eleventh of January 1648; and also the Names of such Members of the House as have not attended since the Eleventh of January 1648.

The Question being propounded, That none of the Members that have not sat in the House since the Eleventh of January 1648, shall be hereafter admitted to sit in this House, who shall not first acknowledge and assert the just Authority of this House, in making the Act for erecting a High Court of Justice for trying and judging the late King;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

The House was divided.

The Noes went forth.

Mr. Salwey, Tellers for the Noes: 27.
Mr. Allen, With the Noes,
Colonel Harrison, Tellers for the Yeas: 22.
Colonel Hutchinson, With the Yeas,

So the Question passed with the Negative.
