Prayers.

False Bills.

An Act imposing Penalties on such as purchase, as original Creditors, any of the Crown Lands, who shall offer to pay with assigned or false Bills, was this Day read; and, upon the Question, passed.

Ministers Maintenance.

An Act for providing Maintenance for Ministers, and other pious Uses, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, That this Proviso, viz. "Provided, That this Act shall continue in Force until the Twenty-sixth Day of June, which shall be in the Year of our Lord 1653," be inserted into this Bill.

A Proviso was tendered to this Act, in these Words; viz. "Provided, That this Act, or any thing therein contained, shall not be construed to extend to the Vesting of the said Trustees, or any of them, in any Manor or Demesne Lands belonging to any Rectory or Parsonage, lately appertaining to any late Archbishop, Bishop, Dean, Prebend, or other Person or Persons, or Bodies Politick, formerly mentioned in this Act to be abolished: Which was read the First time.

And the Question being put, That this Proviso be read the Second time:

It passed with the Affirmative.

And the said Proviso was read the Second time.

The said Proviso was read the Third time; and, upon the Question, was ordered to be Part of the Act.

And the Act, so amended, being put to the Question, passed: And

It is Ordered, That the said Act be forthwith printed and published.
