MR. Strickland reports A Bill for Sale of the Forests belonging to the late King, Queen, or Prince: Which was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed unto Mr. AttorneyGeneral, Mr. Strickland, Lord Commissioner Lisle, Lord Commissioner Whitelock, Sir Wm. Masham, Mr. Allein, Mr. Scott, Lord Chief Baron, Sir Henry Mildmay, Col. Thompson, Mr. Trenchard, Sir Henry Vane, Sir John Hippesley, Mr. Long, Mr. Love, Mr. Nevill, Mr. Lechmere, Mr. Browne, Mr. Stephens, Mr. Garland, Major General Skippon, Mr. Holland, Mr. Aldsworth, Lord General, Mr. Goodwyn, Mr. Ash, Mr. Lemon, Col. Sidney, Col. Pury, Col. Pine, Mr. Oldisworth, Mr. Lister, Col. Purefoy, Col. Wauton, Mr. Millington, Sir Edward Bainton, Mr. Mackworth, Mr. Smyth, Mr. Bond, Sir William Armyn, Mr. John Stephens; and all that come to have Voices: And the Committee is to meet in the Exchequer-Chamber on Thursday next, in the Afternoon And Mr. Attorney, Mr. Solicitor, Mr. Strickland, Mr. Lechmere, and Mr. Long, is to take care of it; with Power to the Committee to send for Persons, Papers, Records.
Probates of Wills.
Ordered, That the Report of the Amendments to the Bill for Probate of Wills, be made on Tuesday Morning next, the first Business; nothing to intervene.
Isle of Wight.
Ordered, That the Report touching the Isle of Wight, be made on Tuesday Morning, next after the Bill for Probate of Wills.
Salt-petre.
Mr. Strickland reports from the Council of State, A Bill for making of Salt-petre: Which was this Day read the First time.
Resolved, That this Bill be now read the Second time.
The said Bill was now read the Second time, accordingly.
Resolved, That this Bill be committed unto the Committee for Forests: And all that come to have Voices: And are to meet at the same Time and Place, and have the like Powers that are given to the Committee touching Forests: And that this Committee have further Power to take into Consideration any Propositions that shall be made to them, for a Supply of Powder and Salt-petre, without the Prosecution of the Way proposed by this Bill: And Mr. Scott is to take Care of it.
The House, according to former Order, adjourned itself to Tuesday Morning next, Eight of Clock.
