Prayers.

Duke of Albemarle's Patent.

A BILL for Confirmation of certain Letters Patents, made and to be made to the Right Noble Lord George Duke of Albemarle, of several Honours, Manors, and Hereditaments, granted to him by his Majesty, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be read the Second time To-morrow Morning.

Dover Pier.

The ingrossed Bill for Repair of Dover Harbour, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, That these Words "the several Receivers of the Duty aforesaid," be added in the * Line of the * Skin of the Bill: And that the Word "respectively" be also added in the next Line.

A Proviso being tendered to be added, to limit the same to be collected, to Two-and-twenty thousand Pounds, was Three times read.

Resolved, That the said Proviso be added to, and made Part of, the Bill.

Another Proviso, on the Behalf of Melcombe Regis and Lyme Regis, in the County of Dorset, was twice read.

And some Amendments being, upon the Question, agreed to be made to the said Proviso; and the same being so amended; and afterwards read;

Resolved, That the said Proviso, so amended and agreed to, be added to, and made Part of, the Bill.

Resolved, That the said Bill, with the Amendments and Provisoes agreed to, do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act for repairing of Dover Harbour.

And Mr. George Mountague is to carry up the Bill to the Lords.

E. of Derby's Estate.

Dr. Birkinhead reports from the Committee to which the ingrossed Bill for restoring the Earl of Derby to certain Manors and Lands, therein mentioned, was, by Order of the Fifteenth of this Month, re-committed, several Amendments to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And, instead of the Two first Amendments offered, Two other Amendments being proposed in the House, and upon the Question agreed; and the other Amendments from the Committee being, upon the Question, agreed to;

The Question being put, That the said Bill, with the said Amendments, be agreed to;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

Resolved, That the Title of the Bill, being, an Act for restoring of Charles Earl of Derby to the Manors of Hope and Hopesdale, and Mould and Mouldsdale, in the County of Flint, be agreed to.

Ordered, That Mr. Stanley do carry up the Bill, with the Amendments, to the Lords; and desire their Concurrence.

Duty on Iron, &c.

Ordered, That the Business of Iron be taken into Consideration To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock; and, after That, the ingrossed Bill for preventing Frauds, and regulating of Abuses in his Majesty's Customs; and then the Matter touching the Highways.

Trade.

Ordered, That Mr. Knight's Report from the Grand Committee of Trade, be heard on Wednesday Morning.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
