Hilton's Charities.

A BILL for settling certain charitable Uses upon the Will of Henry Hilton Esquire, deceased, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Edm. Bowyer, Sir John Talbott, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Edm. Wallpoole, Sir Lanc. Lake, Sir Adam Browne, Sir Fran. Clarke, Sir Clifford Clifton, Mr. Onslow, Sir Char. Harbord, Mr. Morice, Mr. Steward, Mr. Buscawen, Sir Solom. Swale, Mr. Waller, Sir John Morton, Sir Thom. Allen, Sir Robert Atkins, Colonel Gilby, Sir Thomas Higgons, Mr. Finch, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Sir John Brampston, Sir John Birkenhead, Colonel Greg, Sir John Morley, Mr. Pryn, Sir Thom. Anderson, Mr. John Lowther, and all the Members of this House that serve for the several Counties of Yorke, Sussex, and Surry, Middlesex, and the Town of Newcastle: And they are to meet at Two of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to take care for indemnifying the Trustees in the Execution of the Trust: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Prices of Wines.

Ordered, That all Members that shall come, have Voices at the Committee to which the Bill for settling the Prices upon Wine was committed.

Higgons' Claims.

An ingrossed Bill to enable Sir Thomas Higgons to receive Satisfaction for Four thousand Five hundred and Fifty Pounds, due to the late Countess of Essex, was read.

A Writing, purporting an Ordinance of Parliament, dated the Twenty-eighth of September 1646, was read.

The Clause in the Act of Indemnity was twice read; And the whole Matter debated.

The Question being put, That this Bill do pass;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went forth.

Lord Norris' Estate.

Ordered, That the Lord St. John, Sir John Moreton, be added to the Committee to whom the Bill concerning the Lord Norris is committed.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill concerning Duelling is committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon at Three of the Clock, in the Place formerly appointed.

Certioraris, &c.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Bill for Certiorari's and Habeas corpus is committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon at Three of the Clock, in the Place formerly appointed.

Poll Bill.

Resolved, &c. That all Business be laid aside To-morrow Morning, Ten of the Clock: And that this House do then proceed upon the Poll Bill.
