Vaughan's Claims.
ORDERED, That the Lord Castleton, the Lord Herbert, Lord Buckhurst, Mr. Stanley, Sir Chichester Wray, Mr. Windham, and Mr. Sherrard, be added to the Committee to which the Bill concerning Mr. Vaughan is committed.
Privilege.
Upon Information given to the House, on the Behalf of Mr. Knight, a Member of this House, That he going to attend the Lord Treasurer, to make Complaint against one George, and others, for their ill Carriage in managing the Excise for Bristoll; one Manton, a Commissioner of the Excise, in Breach of the Privilege of this House, did there accuse and charge Mr. Knight for Words pretended to be spoken at a Committee of this House, in Prejudice to his Majesty's Revenue;
Resolved, &c. That it be referred to the Committee of Privileges, to examine the Matter of Breach of Privilege, objected by Mr. Knight, a Member of this House, against one Mr. Manton, a Commissioner of Excise, in charging Mr. Knight with Words pretended to be by him spoken at the Committee of this House, in Prejudice to his Majesty's Revenue: And the Committee are to take the same into Consideration at their next Sitting; and to make Report thereof to the House.
Packington's Estate.
An ingrossed Bill to enable Sir John Packington, and his Trustees, to sell, or otherwise dispose of, certain Lands, for the Payment of his Debts, and raising Portions for his younger Children, was this Day read.
Resolved, &c. That the said Bill do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act to enable Sir John Packington, and his Trustees, to sell, or otherwise dispose of, certain Lands, for the Payment of his Debts, and raising Portions for his younger Children.

A Bill for the better Observation of the Lord's Day, was this Day read the First time.

Admiralty Jurisdiction.
A Bill for the Establishing the Jurisdiction of the Admiralty, was this Day read the Second time.
A Petition on the Behalf of the Masters and Owners of several Ships was read.
