Prayers.

Privilege.

INFORMATION being given of a Breach of Privilege committed against Mr. Lowe, a Member of this House, by arresting his menial Servant Benjamin Burgesse, in Two Actions; one at the Suit of one Will. Doughty; and another at the Suit of one Richard Reade; and, although he is released from the Arrest and Imprisonment, yet the Actions against him are not withdrawn;

Ordered, That the said Doughty and . . . Read do forthwith, at their Peril, cause the said Actions to be withdrawn.

Tillage and Cattle.

A Bill for encouraging Tillage was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read the Second time.

Dover Pier.

Ordered, That Leave be given for bringing in a Bill for repairing and maintaining of Dover Pier.

Rebuilding London.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill for rebuilding the City of London.

Publick Bills depending.

Ordered, That a Committee be appointed to inspect such publick Bills as were depending last Sessions; and see which of them are most necessary to be dispatched; and report it to the House: And it is referred to Mr. Nich. Morice, Dr. Burrell, Mr. Crouch, Sir Robert Carr, Sir Jonath. Trelawny, Sir Thom. Meres, Sir Thom. Gower, Sir Jo. Birkenhead, Colonel Birch, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Solom. Swale, Mr. Barnaby, or any Three of them: And they are to meet in the Speaker's Chamber on Friday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Shadwell Church.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill for erecting and endowing a Church near Shadwell in Middlesex.

Suppressing Conventicles.

Ordered, That a Bill be brought in to suppress and prevent Conventicles.

Poor Laws.

Ordered, That a Committee be appointed to look into the Laws concerning the Poor, and see wherein they are defective; and how they may be supplied: And report it, with their Opinions therein, to the House: And it is referred to Mr. Spry, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Jo. Brampston, Sir Jeb Charlton, Sir Jeoffery Shackerly, Sir Anth. Irby, Colonel Birch, Sir Lanc. Lake, Sir Fran. Goodrick, Sir Humfry Wynch, Sir Thomas Higgons, Mr. Morris, Mr. King, or any Five of them: And they are to meet on Friday next at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Supply.

The House then, according to the Vote on Monday last, did proceed to the Consideration of his Majesty's Speech: Which was read.

A Motion being made, for granting a Supply to his Majesty;

And another Motion made, for reading of an Order touching the Method and Manner of granting Supplies; And the Matter upon both debated;

The Question being propounded, That the King be supplied;

The Question being put, Whether the Question for the King's Supply be now put, before the reading of the Order;

The House divided.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
