Prayers.

Corn and Salt Measures.

ORDERED, That these Members following be added to the Committee to which the Bill concerning Measures was committed; viz. Sir Richard Temple, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Mr. Thomas, Sir Fran. Lawley, Colonel Whitley, Lord Ancram: and all the Members that serve for the several Counties of Monmouth, Hereford, Shropshire, Wales, Cornwall, and Devon, are also added.

Dean of St. Paule's House.

Mr. Crouch reports from the Committee to which the Bill concerning the Dean of Saint Paule's, to build a Mansion-house for himself and Successors, was committed, some Amendments agreed to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place: Which, being twice read, were agreed to: And delivered in the Bill at the Clerk's Table.

Resolved, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Wharton's Estate.

Sir Solom. Swale reports from the Committee to which Mr. Perkin's Bill to make Assurance to Dr. Wharton of Lands by him purchased in the County Palatine of Durham, was committed, That the Committee had carefully perused the Bill, and found no Cause to make any Alteration or Amendment: And delivered in the Bill at the Clerk's Table.

Resolved, That the Bill be ingrossed.

Williams' Estate.

Ordered, That Leave be given for bringing in a Bill on the Behalf of Col. Williams, concerning Lands in Huntingtonshire.

Bromley's Estate.

A Bill to enable George Bromley Gentleman to sell Lands for Payment of Debts, and providing for his Children, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Lord Fanshaw, Mr. Vaughan, Lord Richardson, Mr. How, Mr. Bartu, Sir Thom. Doleman, Sir Edm. Pye, Mr. Griffith, Mr. Swynfen, Sir Solom. Swale, Sir Jo. Horde's Leases.

An ingrossed Bill, to enable Thomas Horde Esquire to make Leases of his Estate, was read.

Cornwall Rivers.

Ordered, That the Bill for making Rivers navigable in Cornwall, be read To-morrow Morning.

Supply Bill; Duchy of Cornwall Leasing.

A Bill to enable his Majesty to let Leases of Duchy Lands in Cornwall, was read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be read a Second time.

Falmouth Key.

A Bill for explaining a former Act: And for enabling Sir Peter Kellegrew to erect a Key for Shipping within the Harbour of Falmouth was read the Second time.

Heath's Petition.

A Petition on the Behalf of Sir John Heath and his Lady, was tendered.

Ordered, That the Petition be read; and a Committee appointed To-morrow Morning, to take it into Consideration.

Suppressing Conventicles.

Ordered, That the Report of the Bill for suppressing and preventing Conventicles, be heard To-morrow Morning, Nine of the Clock.

Publick Accounts.

Ordered, That the Matter concerning the publick Accounts be taken into Consideration on Thursday Morning next: And that the Commissioners for Accounts be desired then to attend.

Illegal Imprisonment.

Ordered, That Sir Thomas Lee's Report of the Bill, touching Prisoners, be heard on Wednesday Morning Nine of the Clock.

Supply Bill; Wine Duties.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of the Bill for his Majesty's Supply.

Sir Robert Atkins took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkins reports, That the Committee had made some further Progress in the said Bill for his Majesty's Supply: And that the Committee were of Opinion, That the Duty to be laid upon the Liquors in this Bill be paid by the Importer.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Committee, that the Duty be paid by the Importer.

Resolved, That Provision be made in this Bill for preventing Frauds in the Importation; and for prohibiting any Allowance upon Exportation of any of the Liquors chargeable in the Bill.

The House then again resolved into a Committee of the whole House, upon the said Bill.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Robert Atkins reports, That the Committee had made some further Progress in the said Bill, upon the Votes last passed in the House: And moved, that the House would resolve into a Committee, to proceed upon the said Bill on Thursday Morning next; and so de die in diem.

Resolved, That the House will resolve into a Committee of the whole House, on Wednesday Morning next, to proceed in the Consideration of the Bill for his Majesty's Supply.

Tillage and Cattle.

Ordered, That all the Members that serve for the Cinque Ports be added to the Committee to which the Bill concerning Tillage was committed.

Lynn Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do certify the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England, of the Death of Sir William Hovell Knight, who lately served as a Member of this House for the Town of Lynn in the County of Norfolke; desiring him, that a Writ may issue forth under the Great Seal, for a new Election of a Member to serve in this present Parliament, in his place and stead.

Rebuilding London.

Ordered, That Sir James Rushout be added to the Committee to which the Bill for rebuilding the City of London was committed.
