A BILL for Naturalization of Isaac Stockman, and others, was read the Second time.

Slaning, Sir John Northcott, Mr. Buller, Sir William Lowther, Sir Robert Carr, Sir Tho. Cockermouth Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do certify the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England of the Death of Robert Scawen Esquire, who lately served as a Member of this House for the Borough of Cockermouth, in the County of Cumberland; desiring him that a Writ may issue forth, under the Great Seal, for a new Election of a Member, to serve in this present Parliament, in his place and stead.

Regulating Jurors.

Ordered, That the Report of the Bill of Jurors be heard the first To-morrow Morning.

Davison's Estate.

Ordered, That the Report of the Bill of Mr. Davison be heard the second Business To-morrow Morning.

Tillage and Cattle.

Sir George Downing reports from the Committee to which the Bill for Encouragement of Tillage, was committed, several Amendments agreed to be made to the Bill: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

A Debate being as to the Rate upon Butter exported;

Resolved, &c. That the Rate upon the Exportation of Butter be reduced to One Shilling per Barrel.

Resolved, &c. That the Rate upon Cheese exported be a Noble upon an Hundred, containing One hundred and Twelve Pounds.

Ordered, That a Proviso, ingrossed, by the Reporter, for reducing the Rates upon the Exportation of Butter and Cheese, according to these Votes.

A Proviso, touching a Rate to be set on Beer, was read and debated.

Another Proviso, touching a Rate to be set on Coals, was read and debated.

The Question being put, that this Proviso be read a Second time;

The House was divided.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to the Committee to whom the Bill for Management of Tillage, was committed, or any Three of them, to prepare and bring in a Bill, upon the Debate of the House, concerning the Exportation of Beer and Coal: And that Mr. Jolliffe be added to the Committee.

Message to expedite Business.

Mr. Secretary Trevor acquaints the House, that he had Command again from his Majesty to acquaint them, that his Majesty's Intention was, that the Parliament should rise before Easter; and that the publick Bills depending be dispatched against that Time.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees that were to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned till To-morrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

And then the House adjourned till Three of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Corn and Salt Measures.

AN ingrossed Bill for ascertaining the Measures of Corn and Salt, was read.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for ascertaining the Measures of Corn and Salt: And that Colonel Birch do carry it up to the Lords.

Deeping Fens.

An ingrossed Bill for settling the Draining of the Fens in Lincolneshire, called Deeping Fens, was read: And a Motion being made, and some Debate arising, touching a Proviso to be added to the Bill;

Resolved, &c. That the further Debate of the Matter be adjourned till To-morrow Morning.

Supply Bill; Wine Duties.

Sir Robert Atkins reports from the Committee of the whole House, Amendments, Provisoes, and Clauses, agreed to be made and added to the Bill for his Majesty's Supply: Which, being twice read, were, with some Alterations made at the Table, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

And the said Sir Robert Atkins further reports the Opinion of the Committee, that one Year more be added in the Bill for his Majesty's Supply; and his Majesty humbly desired therewith to recompense his Royal Highness the Duke of Yorke for the Damage his Highness hath received, and shall receive, in his Revenue of Wine Licences, by this and the last Imposition.

Resolved, &c. That this House do agree in Opinion with the Committee.

Resolved, &c. That one Year more be added in the Bill for his Majesty's Supply:

Which was done; and the Bill accordingly amended.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments and Additions, be ingrossed.

Resolved, &c. That Mr. Speaker do, upon presenting of the Bill, humbly acquaint his Majesty with the Substance of the Vote and Desire of the House therein, to recompense his Royal Highness the Duke of Yorke with the Year's Addition to his Majesty's Supply, for the Damage his Highness hath received, and shall receive, in his Revenue of Wine Licences, by this and the last Imposition.

Yarmouth Pier.
