Houses burnt in London.

A BILL for determining Differences concerning Houses burned, was read the First time.

Ordered, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Fishery.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Matter concerning the Fishery is committed, have Power to send for and hear the Fishmongers, or any other Persons that may give them Information in that Matter.

Sams' Charities.

Ordered, That the Bill for settling the charitable Use of Mr. Sams, be read To-morrow Morning.

Fines and Forfeitures.

A Bill for the better collecting and answering of Fines and Forfeitures, payable to his Majesty, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. Ordered, That the Clause on the Behalf of the indigent loyal Officers, be read To-morrow Morning.

Conventicles.

Ordered, That the Report of the Bill against Conventicles, be heard on Wednesday Morning, at Ten of the Clock, punctually.

Clarke's Estate.

Ordered, That the Bill on Behalf of Sir William Clarke be read To-morrow Morning.

Supply Bill: foreign Commodities.

The House then proceeded on the Clauses to be added to the Bill for an Imposition on foreign Commodities.

The Clause for Exportation of Coal, being read the Second time;

A Petition of the Farmers of the Customs of Coals exported, was read; and debated.

The Question being put, To agree with the Committee, that this Clause be made Part of the Bill;

The House divided:

And so it was resolved in the Affirmative.

The House then proceeded to the postponed Debate of the prohibiting the Importation of all Sorts of Aqua Vitæ, Brandy, Wine or Spirits, or Strong Waters.

The Question being put, To agree with the Committee;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

A Clause for making Search for prohibited Goods, and turning the Proof on the Importer or Vender of them, was twice read.

The Question being put, Whether these Words, "or where the same are suspected to be concealed or kept," do stand in the Question;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

Resolved, &c. That this Clause be made Part of the Bill.

A Clause relating to the other Clause, touching the Exportation of Corn, was twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to be added to the former Clause, and made Part of the Bill.

Another Clause, touching Corn imported out of Scotland, was twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to, and made Part of the Bill.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments, Provisoes, and Clauses agreed to, be ingrossed.

Resolved, &c. That the Amendments to the Bill for prohibiting the importing Brandy, be taken into Consideration the first Business To-morrow Morning, notwithstanding any former Order.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
