Prayers.

Harlakenden's Estate.

A BILL for Sale of Part of the Estate of John Harlakenden Esquire, for Satisfaction of a Debt due to his Majesty, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be read a Second time.

Privilege.

Ordered, That Herbert Jones, John, William, Edward, and Charles Williams, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for their Contempt in refusing to obey an Order of Summons from the Committee of Privileges, to whom it was referred to examine the Matter of a Breach of Privilege, by them committed against Sir Trevor Williams, a Member of this House.

Lindsey Level.

Ordered, That all Parties and Persons attending upon the Cause concerning Lindsey Level Fen in the County of Lincolne, be discharged and dismissed from further Attendance.

Intestates Estates.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Andrew Hackett and Sir Will. Beversham;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent you down a Bill, intituled, An Act for the better settling of Intestates Estates: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Tobacco.

Sir George Downing reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for preventing the Planting Tobacco in England, &c. was committed, several Amendments, Alterations, and Additions, agreed to by the Committee, to be made to the said Bill: Which he read in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Which, being twice read, were, upon the Question, severally agreed unto.

A Clause, for making the Bill temporary, was tendered and read the First and Second time; and agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Message for expediting Business.

Mr. Secretary Trevor acquaints the House, from his Majesty, That his Majesty had commanded him to let the House know, that his Majesty intended a Recess, by the Eighth of April next; and that therefore the House would hasten the Dispatch of the Bills depending.

Conventicles.

Ordered, That the Report of the Amendments to the Bill against Conventicles, be made To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock.

Supply Bill; Law Proceedings.

The Bill for laying an Imposition upon Proceedings in Courts of Law, and other Courts, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House: And that the House resolve into a Committee of the whole House thereupon, To-morrow Morning, next after the Report of the Bill against Conventicles: And that it be an Instruction to the Committee, to make the Bill of the Impositions agreeable to the Votes of the House; and also, to consider what Offices may bear the Impositions, or Part thereof; and to lay it accordingly.

Bills to be read.

Ordered, That the House do sit in the Afternoon, for reading the ingrossed Bills depending.

And then the House adjourned till Three of the Clock, Afternoon.

Ogle's Estate.

SIR Charles Harbord reports from the Committee, to whom the Bill for Sale of the Estate of Sir Thomas Ogle, was committed, several Additions, Alterations, and Amendments, agreed by the Committee, to be made to the said Bill: Which he read in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table; Which, being twice read, were, upon the Question, severally agreed unto.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Sams' Charities.

The ingrossed Bill for settling Lands by John Sams, for Charitable Uses, was read the Third time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for settling Lands by John Sams, for charitable Uses.

Hackett's Estate.

A Bill, sent down from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Sir Andrew Hackett Knight, to settle a Portion of Money on Mary Hackett his Daughter, was read the Second time.

Hemp and Flax planting.

The ingrossed Bill for encouraging of the Sowing of Flax and Hemp, was read the Third time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for encouraging of the Sowing of Flax and Hemp.

Naval Stores.

A Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act to revive an Act, intituled, An Act to prevent the Disturbances of Seamen and others, and to preserve the Stores belonging to his Majesty's Navy Royal, with some Alterations and Additions, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be read a Second time.

Building Arundell House.

A Bill, sent down from the Lords, intituled, An Act for building Arundell House, and Tenements thereunto belonging, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill be committed to Mr. Onslow, Sir John Lowther, Sir Thom. Meeres, Sir Solomon Swale, Sir Robert Steward, Sir Thom. The additional Amendments to the Bill on the Behalf of the truly loyal indigent Commission Officers, formerly reported, were read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

Clarke's Estate.

Sir Cirill Wych reports from the Committee to whom the Bill on the Behalf of Sir William Clarke, was committed, several Alterations and Amendments agreed by the Committee to be made to the said Bill: Which he read in his Place; and after delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the same, being twice read, were, upon the Question, severally agreed unto.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Fishery.

Mr. Vaughan reports from the Committee appointed to prepare and bring in a Bill for encouraging and improving the Fishing Trade, That the Committee had considered thereof, and prepared a Bill accordingly: Which he delivered in at the Clerk's Table.

Ordered, &c. That the said Bill be read on Wednesday Morning next.

Buying and selling Cattle.

Sir Robert Steward reports from the Committee, to whom the Bill for regulating the Buying and Selling of Cattle, was committed, several Amendments and Alterations to be made to the said Bill: Which he read in his Place; and after delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the same being twice read, and, upon the Question, severally agreed unto;

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

London Paving, &c.

Mr. Love tenders a Bill for perpetuating the Powers contained in the Clause of an Act for building the City of London, touching Pavements and Sewers, in the Mayor, Commonalty, and Citizens.

Ordered, That the said Bill be read on Wednesday Morning next.

Intestates Estates.

Ordered, That the Bill, sent down from the Lords, for the better settling of Intestates Estates, be read on Wednesday Morning next, at Nine of the Clock.

Rosse Vicarage.

The Amendments, sent down from the Lords, to the Bill, intituled, An Act for uniting the Vicarage and Parsonage of Rosse in the County of Hereford, was read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, severally agreed unto.

The said Amendments were also read the Third time.

Paris Garden

The Amendments, sent down from the Lords, to the Bill, intituled, An Act for making the Manor of Paris Garden a Parish, and to enable the Parishioners of St. Saviour's Southwark to raise a Maintenance for Ministers, and for Repair of their Church, were read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

The said Amendments were also read the Third time.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
