Prayers.

Weymouth Election.

A PETITION of Michael Harvey Esquire, touching the Election for Weymouth and Melcomb Regis in the County of Dorsett, was read.

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of Elections and Privileges to examine the Matter thereof; and to report the same, with their Opinion therein, to the House.

Agmondesham Election.

A Petition of Sir Roger Hill, touching the Election of Agmondesham in the County of Bucks, was read.

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of Elections and Privileges; and to examine the Matter thereof; and report the same, with their Opinion therein, to the House.

Tregonny Election.

A Petition of Hugh Boscawen Esquire, touching the Election of Tregonny in the County of Cornwall, was read.

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Committee for Privileges and Elections; to examine the Matter thereof; and to report the same, with their Opinion therein, to the House.

Lichfeild Election.

A Petition of Sir Francis Lawly, touching the Election for Lichfeild in the County of Stafford, was read.

Newton Election.

Northampton Election.

A Petition of Thomas Dunkley, William Petit, Richard Harris, and Edward Ward, touching the Election for the Town of Northampton.

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of Elections and Privileges; to examine the Matter thereof; and to report the same, with their Opinion therein, to the House.

Rebuilding St. Paul's.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill for and towards the Rebuilding and Finishing the Cathedral Church of St. Paul's London.

King's Revenue.

A Bill for settling the Revenue on his Majesty for his Life, which was settled on his late Majesty during his Life, was read a Second time.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House do immediately resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House to proceed in the Consideration of the said Bill.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Solicitor General took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Solicitor General reports from the Grand Committee to whom the Bill for settling the Revenue on his Majesty for his Life, was committed, That they, having taken the same into their Consideration, have made several Amendments; and prepared a Clause to be added to the Bill: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same being read, are as followeth;

Folio 1, Line 2: After the Word "Reign," and before the Word, "intituled," add the Words "and confirmed in the Thirteenth Year of his said Majesty's Reign."

After the Words "blessed Memory," and before the Word "intituled," add these Words, "and confirmed in the Thirteenth Year of his said Majesty's Reign."

Folio 2, Line 8: After the Words, "be it Enacted," and before "Advice and Consent," add "by the King's Most Excellent Majesty."

Folio 2, Line 9: After the Word "Lords" and . . . . . . . Word "Commons," add the Words "Spiritual and Temporal."

Folio 2, Line 10: After the Word "assembled," and before the Words "that the aforesaid," add these Words, "and by the Authority of the same."

Folio 3, Lines 3, 4: Leave out the Words "for levying and collecting the same."

"And be it further Enacted by the Authority aforesaid, That One Act of Parliament made in the Twelfth Year of his late Majesty's Reign, intituled, An Act to prevent Frauds and Concealments of Customs and Subsidies; as also one Act made in the Fourteenth Year of his late Majesty's . . . . intituled, An Act for preventing Frauds, and regulating Abuses, in his Majesty's Customs; be of full Force and Effect during his Majesty's Life, which God long preserve.

The said Amendments, and Clause, being twice read at the Table, were, upon the Question, severally agreed to by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the said Amendments, and Clause, be ingrossed.

Ordered, That the said Bill, ingrossed, be brought in, in order to be read a Third time, To-morrow Morning.

And then the House adjourned to Nine of the Clock To-morrow Morning.
