Prayers.

Worthenbury Parish.

A BILL for severing the Church of Worthenbury from the Parish of Bangor in the County of Flint, was read.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived; and do sit at Three of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Places formerly appointed.

Bangor Cathedral.

An ingrossed Bill, sent down from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the Repair of the Cathedral Church of Bangor, and for the Maintenance of the Choir there; and for the Augmentation of the Revenue of the Bishoprick of Bangor; and also for an Augmentation of several Vicarages within the Comportion of Llandinum in the Diocese of Bangor aforesaid; was read.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Register of Deaths, &c.

A Bill for registring the Deaths, Burials, Marriages, and Issue of the Nobility and Gentry of England, was read.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Westminster, &c. Courts of Conscience.

A Bill for erecting Courts of Conscience in Westminster, Southwark, Hamlet of the Tower, and other Places, was read.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Ship-building.

An ingrossed Bill to encourage the Building of Ships in England, was read a Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act to encourage the Building of Ships in England.

Ordered, That Mr. North do carry up the Bill to the Lords for their Concurrence.

Hackney Coaches, &c.

A Bill for regulating Hackney Coaches; and a Bill for regulating Hackney Coaches, and preventing divers Nuisances in the Streets of London and Westminster; were read.

Resolved, That the said Bills be read a Second time.

Rochester, &c. Waterworks.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir James Astry and Dr. Edsbury;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have commanded us to acquaint you, That they have passed a Bill, sent up from this House, intituled, An Act for conveying fresh Water through several Grounds unto the City of Rochester, with some Amendments: To which their Lordships desire the Concurrence of this House.

The Amendments being thrice read;

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendments.

Ordered, That Mr. Bickerstaffe do carry up the said Bill to the Lords, with the Concurrence of this House to the said Amendments.

Preservation of King's Person, &c.

Mr. Etherick reports from the Committee appointed to prepare and bring in a Clause to be added to the Bill for Preservation of His Majesty's Person and Government, That the Committee had prepared such a Clause: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

Ordered, That the Clause do lie on the Clerk's Table.

Message from the King.

The Earl of Middleton acquainting the House, That his Majesty intends to be in his Royal Robes in the House of Peers, at Four of the Clock this Afternoon;

The House adjourned to Three of the Clock this Afternoon.

A MESSAGE from his Majesty, by Sir Thomas Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod;

Mr. Speaker,

The King commands this honourable House to attend Him, immediately, in the House of Peers.

And accordingly Mr. Speaker, with the House, went up to attend his Majesty.

The House being returned;

Preservation of King's Person, &c.

Sir Edward Herbert reports from the Committee of the whole House, to whom the Bill for Preservation of his Majesty's Person and Government was committed, That the Committee, having taken the same into their Consideration, had agreed to some Amendments to be made, and a Proviso to be added, to the Bill: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered them in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same being twice read, were, upon the Question put severally, agreed to by the House.

Ordered, That the said Proviso be made Part of the Bill.

A Proviso, reported this Day to this House, to be added to the Bill, being twice read;

Resolved, That the said Proviso be made Part of the Bill.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed; and be read a Third time on Monday Morning.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be adjourned.

Woollen Manufacture.

Ordered, That the adjourned Debate, concerning the Bill for Wearing of the Woollen Manufacture, be resumed on Monday Morning next.
