PREBEND

Preb. of Brawdy (Penfro) was turned into a knight's fee by bp. Geoffrey, 7 Dec. 1203 x 1214 (Gir. Cambr. III 350; Speculum Duorum pp. 262-3). Agreement between bp. and chapter that it was to be permanently attached to bp.'s mensa 12 Nov. 1259 (St Davids Acta no. 130).
