PREBEND
Preb. of Brawdy (Penfro) was turned into a knight's fee by bp. Geoffrey, 7 Dec. 1203 x 1214 (Gir. Cambr. III 350; Speculum Duorum pp. 262-3). Agreement between bp. and chapter that it was to be permanently attached to bp.'s mensa 12 Nov. 1259 (St Davids Acta no. 130).
PREBENDARIES
The first identified preb., John Goch, had royal gr. 27 Feb. 1347 (2 Fasti XI 65).
