Grenada.
Read an Order of the King in Council, dated September 7th, 1768, repealing several Acts and Ordinances passed in Grenada; and directing this Board to prepare and lay before his Majesty draughts of additional instructions to the Governor for carrying into execution certain parts of the proposals therein mentioned; and the Earl of Hillsborough to receive his Majesty's pleasure for such orders as are necessary and requisite for carrying into execution the other parts of the said proposals.

The draught of additional instructions, conformable thereto, having been prepared, was approved, and a representation to his Majesty thereupon was signed.

Quebec.

Read an Order of the Lords of the Committee of Council for Plantation Affairs, dated September 28th, 1768, directing this Board to consider the state of Quebec in respect to revenue, religion and judicature, and to report their opinion, whether it may be expedient to call an Assembly, and if so, how it should be constituted, and what instructions it may be proper to give in respect to the three points above mentioned.
Their lordships made some progress in the consideration of this business, and agreed to consider further thereof on Thursday next.
New York.
Read an Order of his Majesty in Council, dated August 12th, 1768, approving a report of the Lords of the Committee upon a representation of this Board to his Majesty, touching the Act passed in New York for making provision for quartering his Majesty's troops, and directing the Board to proceed, to represent to his Majesty upon the laws of New York, now before them.

Proprieties.
Read a report of his Majesty's Attorney and Solicitor General upon the petition of the Proprietaries of Maryland and Pennsylvania, touching the decrees and agreements concerning their respective limits, referred to them on the 27th of November last.
Ordered, that the draught of a report to the Lords of the Committee of Council on the said petition be prepared.
Jamaica.
Read Sir Matthew Lamb's opinion upon a case and question stated to him by order of the Board. touching the right of jurisdiction in the case of a murther committed on board one of his Majesty's ships in the harbour of Port Royal, Jamaica, by a seaman in his Majesty's pay.

Their lordships, upon consideration of the said case and opinion, and of a former opinion in a similar case given by the Attorney and Solicitor General and some of the most eminent civilians, agreed upon a representation to his Majesty thereupon, and a draught was accordingly ordered to be prepared.
Grenada, St. Vincent's.
Read a memorial of Philip Laborde and William Byam of the island of St. Vincent's, praying the Board's approbation of and consent to the said Laborde's assigning to the said Byam, a lease granted for fourteen years to Laborde by the Commissioners for sale of lands in the ceded islands, of a lot of land consisting of thirty eight acres in the said island of St. Vincent.

It appearing, by papers annexed to the said petition, that General Melvill had given his consent to the said assignment, pursuant to the 4th article of his Majesty's instructions to the Commissioners for the sale of lands, it was ordered, that the Secretary should sign a certificate of their lordships' approbation and consent to the said assignment.

Letter from Josiah Hardy, Esquire, his Majesty's Consul at
Cadiz, to the Board, dated August 28th, 1768, transmitting,
Representation of the British Consul and factory at
Cadiz, dated August 27th, 1768, relative to some
grievances under which the British commerce at this
time labours in that city.
Copy of a memorial presented to the Governor of Cadiz
by the British Consul and the deputies of the factory
there.

Letter from Wyndham Beawes, Esquire, Consul at St. Lucar,
to the Board, dated August 16th, 1768, relative to prohibiting the importation of certain articles of commerce
into the kingdom of Spain.
A list of British vessels that have delivered any merchandize
from any of the British dominions in the ports of Galicia
and Asturias, from the 25th of December, 1767, to 24th
of June, 1768.

Read a letter from John Buckland, Esquire, Consul at Nice, to the Board, dated July 6th, 1768, relative to the state of the British trade there.
East Florida.
Major Maurice, whose petition for twenty thousand acres of land in East Florida was referred to this Board, on the 26th of June, 1767, attended and prayed their lordships report thereupon. He was accordingly called in and examined as to his intention and ability to carry the proposed settlement into execution, and being withdrawn, their lordships, upon consideration, ordered the draught of a report to be prepared, recommending that he should have a grant of ten thousand acres.

North Carolina.

Mr. McCulloh attended in behalf of the persons interested in an Act passed in North Carolina, 1766, for confirming a lease made by the Tuscarora Indians to Robert Jones, etc., and urged several reasons to their lordships in support of the said Act, which he prayed might be reported by the Board for his Majesty's royal confirmation.
Mr. McCulloh being withdrawn, the Secretary acquainted the Board with the steps which have been taken upon this law, and with the letter thereupon, wrote by order of the Board to Earl Granville.
Ordered, that the Secretary do write again to Earl Granville, reminding him of the former letter, acquainting him of the application made by the persons interested in the law, and that their lordships will shortly lay before his Majesty for confirmation, unless his Lordship should signify any objection thereto, and desire to be heard upon it.

The draught of a representation to his Majesty, recommending Mr. Stockton to be appointed of the Council of New Jersey, having been prepared pursuant to order, was approved; as were also reports to the Lords of the Committee of Council upon the petition of the Proprietaries of Maryland and Pennsylvania, respecting their limits, and upon the petition of Major Maurice for a tract of land in East Florida, together with the draught of a representation to his Majesty upon a letter from the Lieutenant Governor of Jamaica, respecting the jurisdiction in cases of murther committed by seamen on board his Majesty's ships in the harbour of Kingston.

vizt.
An account of the quantity of raw hides and skins exported
from Ireland from Midsummer, 1758, to Midsummer, 1768,
distinguishing the places to which exported.

An account of the tanned leather exported for the same time,
distinguishing the places to which exported, with the rate
and amount of the duties paid thereupon.
Quebec.
