Tuesday, September 22. Present:—Colonel Bladen, Mr. Brudenell, Mr. Keene, Mr. Pelham.
Barbados.
Read a letter from Mr. Dottin, President of the Council and Commander in Chief of Barbados, dated the 16th of July, 1741, inclosing copy of a description concerning the proceedings of the French towards the settlement of Santa Lucia; and a letter to the Duke of Newcastle, for inclosing to his Grace an extract of Mr. President Dottin's said letter, together with a copy of the deposition abovementioned, was agreed to and signed.
