Friday, October 6. Present:—Earl of Halifax, Lord Dupplin, Mr. Townshend, Mr. Stone.
Plantations General.
Their lordships took into consideration the memorial of the French Commissaries relative to Acadia or Nova Scotia, mentioned in the minutes of the 17th December, 1751, and the draught of an answer thereto having been prepared was agreed to and ordered to be transcribed and the draught of a letter to the Earl of Holdernesse inclosing the same was signed.
Pennsylvania.
Ordered that the consideration of the petition of the Proprietors of Pennsylvania which stands appointed for the 10th instant, be deferred till Thursday, the 9th of November next and that the Secretary give notice to the agents accordingly.

Read a letter from Mr. Grenville, Governor of Barbados, to
the Board, dated the 4th August, 1752, giving a further account
of his proceedings and correspondence with Mr. Bompar relative
to the execution of his Majesty's orders for evacuating the Neutral
Islands, and transmitting:—
Monsieur de Bompar's letter to Governor Grenville, dated at
Martinique, November 17th, N.S., 1751.
Governor Grenville's letter to Commodore Holborne, dated
December 17th, 1751.
Captain Bladwell's report of the state of the Neutral Islands,
dated January 28th, 1752.
State of the island of Tobago, September 15th, 1751, by
Lieutenant Drummond.
A list of the Honourable the members of his Majesty's
Council of Barbados.
An abstract of all persons, born, christened and buried, from
the 25th of March, 1751, to the 1st January, 1752.
Storekeeper's return of powder collected from 25th August,
1751, to 23rd February, 1752.
Treasurer's return of new negroes imported into this island
from the 14th day of April, 1751, to the 20th day of July,
1752.
Minutes of Council beginning the 1st of October, 1751,
ending the 8th of July, 1752.
Minutes of Assembly beginning the 20th of August, 1751,
ending the 9th of June, 1752.
Six Acts passed at Barbados between the 2nd October, 1751,
and the 5th of August, 1752.
Ordered that an extract of so much of the said letter as relates to Mr. Grenville's further proceedings in execution of his Majesty's orders for the evacuation of the Neutral Islands, and copies of the several papers on that subject therewith received be made in order to be transmitted to the Earl of Holdernesse, and that the draught of a letter to his lordship to accompany the same be prepared.
Ordered that the abovementioned Acts be sent to Mr. Lamb for his opinion thereon in point of law.

The draught of a letter to the Earl of Holdernesse having been prepared pursuant to the minutes of yesterday, was agreed to, transcribed and signed.
Thursday, October 26. Present:—Lord Dupplin, Mr. Townshend, Mr. Stone.
Miscellanies.
The Secretary laid before the Board an account of the incidental charges of this office from Lady Day to Midsummer, 1752, amounting to four hundred, twenty five pounds, sixteen shillings and eightpence, and a letter to the Lords of the Treasury desiring payment thereof and of the salaries due to the Secretary and under officers in the service of this Board for the same time, were laid before the Board and signed.
