The Messengers sent to the House of Commons on Monday last return with this Answer:

That the House of Commons will cause to be looked out those Deeds, Evidences, and Writings, as belong to the Peers; and then they will send an Answer to their Lordships by Messengers of their own.

Bill concerning the King's Power in Ecclesiastical Affairs.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act concerning His Majesty's Power in Ecclesiastical Affairs."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill now read shall be committed ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That this Bill is committed to a Committee of the whole House; to be taken into Consideration on Friday Morning next.

Heralds Bill, for recording Descents, &c.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for recording the Matches and Descents of the Nobility and Gentry of England; and for preventing Usurpations of their Armorial Atchievements, and Irregularities in the Bearing of them."

Several Questions were propounded:

1. "Whether to adjourn this House?"

2. "Whether to have the Committee for Petitions revived?"

And the Question being put, "Whether the First Question shall be first put?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.
