Vote against Importation of French Commodities.
The House resumed the further Debate that was Yesterday, concerning the Vote brought from the House of Commons, "That His Majesty be humbly moved to issue out His Proclamation, prohibiting strictly the Importation of all Sorts of Manufactures and Commodities whatsoever, of the Growth, Production, or Manufacture, of France, and of all other Lands and Places in the Possession of the French King, into any Port or Place of this Kingdom, or Town of Berwick upon Tweed."
And, after full Consideration, the House Resolved, To have a Conference with the House of Commons, upon that Vote.
And these Lords following were appointed to meet To-morrow Morning, at Eight of the Clock, in the Prince's Lodgings, to draw up such Reasons as shall be fit to be offered to the House of Commons at that Conference, and to present the same to this House:
Committee to prepare Heads for a Conference about it.
