PRAYERS.

The Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas sat Speaker of this House this Day, in the Absence of the Lord Keeper, he being not well.

The Earl of Kent is added to the Committee for Privileges, to the Committee for Trade, and to the Committee for considering of the Report and Papers received from the Commissioners for taking of Accompts of several Monies mentioned in an Act of Parliament; to which Committee the Lord Viscount Hallyfax is also added.

Grenvile versus Elwes.

Upon hearing of Counsel this Day at the Bar, as well on the Behalf of Bernard Grenvile Esquire, as also of Jeremy Elwes Esquire; and upon Consideration of what was offered:

The Question being put, "Whether Mr. Grenvile is sufficiently a Party to this Decree and Suit in Chancery?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

After this, the House made this Order following:

"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Counsel of Bernard Grenvile Esquire, and Jeremy Elwes Esquire, shall be heard, at the Bar, on Tuesday the Sixteenth Day of November Instant, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon to this Point; (videlicet,)

"Whether the Decree of the Court of Chancery made on the First Day of June 1668, between Cutbert Morley Esquire, Plaintiff, and Jeremy Elwes, and Henry Elwes his Trustee, Defendants, be pursuant to the Order and Judgement of this House, made the 31th of March, 1668?"

Adjourn.
