Viscount Latimer introduced.
This Day Thomas Osborne Baronet, being created Baron de Kiveton, in Comitat. Yorke, et Viscount Latymer, was introduced, in his Parliament Robes, between the Lord Viscount de Stafford and Lord Viscount Fauconberg; the Lord Great Chamberlain and Garter King at Arms going before.
His Lordship having delivered his Patent of Creation and Writ of Summons to Parliament to the Lord High Chancellor of England, upon his Knee, and he delivering the same to the Clerk of the Parliament, they were read publicly; the Patent bearing Date the 15th of August, A° 25° Regis Car'l. IIdi; and the Writ of Summons bearing Date the 17th Day of October, in the 25th Year of King Charles the Second: Which being done, he was placed at the lower End of the Earls Bench; and afterwards placed near the upper End of the Earls Bench, as Lord Treasurer of England.
Viscount Yarmouth introduced.
In the same Manner was Robert Paston Baronet, being created Baron Paston de Paston, et Viscount de Yarmouth, introduced, between the Earl of Dorset and Vicecomes de Stafford.
His Patent bears Date 19° Augusti (fn. 1) in the 25th Year of King Charles the Second; and the Writ of Summons dated the 17th Day of this Instant October: Which being both read, his Lordship was placed on the lower End of the Earls Bench.
L. Butler of Weston introduced.
Next, in the same Manner, Richard Lord Butler, created Baron de Weston, was introducted, between the Lord Mohun and the Lord Bellasis:
His Patent bears Date the 27th Day of August, in the 25th Year of King Charles the Second; and the Writ of Summons bears Date the 17th Day of this Instant October: Which being both read, his Lordship was brought and placed at the lower End of the Barons Bench.
Commissioners for proroguing the Parliament.
Then the Lord Chancellor acquainted the House, "That the King had granted a Commission, under the Great Seal of England, to prorogue the Parliament."
Hereupon the Lord Chancellor, having the Archbishop of Cant. the Lord Privy Seal, the Earl of Bridgwater, and the Earl of Arlington, on his Right Hand, the Lord Treasurer, the Duke of Bucks, the Lord Great Chamberlain on his Left Hand, Eight of the Commissioners, sitting upon a Form cross the House, between the Throne and the Lord Chancellor's Woolsack, the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod had Command to give the House of Commons Notice of the said Commission, and to signify the Lords Desire that the House of Commons would be present, to hear the said Commission read.
Memorandum, That the Lords Commissioners and all the rest of the Lords sat with their Robes.

Then the Lord Chancellor said,
Parliament prorogued.
"By virtue of His Majesty's Commission now read, we do, in His Majesty's Name, prorogue the Parliament to the Twenty-seventh Day of this Instant October; and this Parliament is prorogued to the Twentyseventh Day of this Instant October."
