Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the Naturalization of Stephen Lauze and Benjamin Le Nud."

Creditors of Prisoners for Debt Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for a proportionable Satisfaction to be made to the Creditors, out of the Real and Personal Estates of Prisoners for Debt."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall be committed?"

King will receive the Address for removing Papists from London.

The Lord Treasurer reported, "That, according to the Order of this House Yesterday, he and the other Lords appointed have attended His Majesty, to know what Time this House should wait upon Him, to present their Address resolved on Yesterday; and His Majesty hath appointed this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock, in the Banqueting House at Whitehall, for that Purpose."

Hereupon the Lords agreed to meet, in the Banqueting House at Whitehall, at the Time appointed.

Hallet versus Kendall.

Upon reading the Petition of Mary Hallet Widow, now Prisoner in The Fleete, complaining against Thomas Kendall, for proceeding against her while her Petition and Appeal, to which the said Thomas Kendall and Mary his Wife were Defendants, is depending in this House, forcibly entering the Petitioner's House, and imprisoning her, as in the said Petition is set forth:

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Thomas Kendall may have a Copy of the said Petition; and is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, and to the said Appeal, in Writing, on Thursday the 15th of this Instant January, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon: And it is further ORDERED, That the said Mary Hallet may have a Writ of Habeas Corpus de die in diem, for the attending of her Complaint and Appeal while it is depending in this House.

No Lord to speak after the Question is put.

It is ORDERED and Declared, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That when a Question hath been entirely put by the Speaker, no Lord is to speak against the Question before Voting: And it is further ORDERED, That this Rule be entered into the Roll of the Standing Orders of this House.
