PRAYERS.

Bayly, the Drayman, discharged.

ORDERED, That John Bayly Drayman, now in the Custody of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, be, and is hereby, discharged of his Restraint, paying his Fees; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To Sir Tho. Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them.

Church Rates, &c. Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the better Payment of Church Rates, Small Tithes, and other Church Duties, and for the better passing Churchwardens Accompts."

Bill to prevent Minors clandestine Marriages.

The House was adjourned into a Committee during Pleasure, to consider of the Bill disabling Minors to marry, without the Consent of their Fathers and Guardians, and for preventing all clandestine Marriages for the future.

The House was resumed.

The Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee of the House, finding some Difficulty in the Proceeding of this Bill, are of Opinion, That the best Way will be to appoint a Sub-committee, to consider of this Bill, and prepare it for the Committee of the whole House."

Which was agreed to, and these Lords following were appointed for that Purpose:
