Lucy, to breed up a Protestant, &c. Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for securing the Portion of Elizabeth Lucy, and breeding her up a Protestant, and for transferring the Trust for that Purpose."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass into a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Mr. Keck:

To carry down the said Bill, and to desire their Concurrence thereunto.

L. Ferrers & al. versus Ly. Ferrers & al.

The House being this Day moved, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing the Cause wherein the Honourable Robert Sherley Esquire and Anne his Wife, Grandchild and Heir of John Ferrers Esquire deceased, and the Right Honourable Robert Lord Ferrers, against Dame Elizabeth Ferrers, Nicholas Parker, Lettice Stanhop, and Anne Stanhope:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Monday the First Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Ly. Smith versus Blight & al.

Upon reading the Petition of the Lady Anne Smith; praying a Day may be appointed, for hearing of her Cause depending in this House, whereunto Francis Blight and Elizabeth Blight are Defendants; as also upon reading the Petition of Elizabeth and Francis Blight, praying the Dismission of the said Appeal of the Lady Anne Smith, she having not proceeded upon her Appeal:

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, peremptorily, on Wednesday the Tenth Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Beackbane versus Harford.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing the Cause wherein Thomas Beackbaine is Appellant, and John Harford and Anne his Wife are Respondents:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Thursday the Eleventh Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Letters Patents, to vacate, Needwood Forest, Bill.

The Earl of Bridgewater reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for making void several Letters Patents therein mentioned," with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to, except that relating to the Commissioners Names; which being disagreed, others were named and agreed to at the Table; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the Amendments and Commissioners Names.

Committee of Privileges.

ORDERED, That the Committee of Privileges do sit on Friday next, at Four of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Chancery, &c. to reform Abuses in, Bill.

The House was put into a Committee, to proceed on the Bill, intituled, "An Act for regulating divers Abuses in the Court of Chancery, and other Courts of Equity."

The House was resumed.

And the Earl of Fauconberge reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desired that Saturday next might be appointed for the House to be put into a Committee again thereupon."

ORDERED, That the House shall be put into a Committee again on Saturday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, to proceed further on the said Bill; and that the Judges, Sir William Rawlinson One of the Commissioners of the Great Seal, and Sir Anthony Kecke, do then attend.

Adjourn.
