Asheton versus Asheton.

Upon Report this Day from the Lords Committees, to whom was referred the Petition of Sir Edmund Asheton Baronet, presented to this House the Fourteenth of December last, praying an Explanation of an Order of this House, of the Eighteenth Day of January, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-one, on the Behalf of Richard Asheton Esquire; "That their Lordships are of Opinion, there needs no new Order at present in this Case; but if, upon the Petitioner's Application to Chancery, that Court shall be under any Difficulty of proceeding, by reason of the said Order of the Eighteenth of January, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-one; then it may be proper, and the Petitioner be at Liberty, to apply himself to this House again:"

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition of Sir Edmund Asheton shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House.

House will attend the Queen's Funeral in their Robes:

The House being moved, "To declare in what Manner the Lords shall attend, at the Solemnity of Her Majesty's Funeral:"

Sir R. Verney no Right to a Writ of Summons.

Upon Report made this Day, by the Lord Keeper, of what was offered by His Majesty's Attorney General and other Counsel, in relation to the Petition of Sir Richard Verney Knight, claiming the Title of Lord Broke:

After due Consideration had thereof, it is this Day Resolved, upon the Question, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner Sir Richard Verney hath no Right to a Writ of Summons to Parliament.

State of the Public Accompts to be sent in.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Commissioners appointed by a late Act of Parliament to examine, take, and state, the Public Accompts of the Kingdom, do send to this House, with all convenient Speed, in Writing, a State of the said Public Accompts.

Duval versus Price, in Error:

After hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, to argue the Errors assigned upon a Writ of Error brought into this House the Six and Twentieth Day of November, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-four, in relation to a Judgement given in the Court of Exchequer, and the Affirmance thereof in the Exchequer Chamber, for Edward Price, against John Duvall; and due Consideration had of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement reversed.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Judgement given for the said Edward Price in the Court of Exchequer, and the Affirmance thereof in the Exchequer Chamber, against the said John Duvall, shall be, and is hereby, reversed.

The Tenor of which Judgement, to be affixed to the Record to be remitted, followeth; (videlicet,)
