Lucy versus Bp. of St. David's.
The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees for Privileges, to whom was referred the Petition of Robert Lucy Esquire, praying the Benefit of Law against the Lord Bishop of St. David's, for Recovery of Fees due to him as Register of the Diocese of St. David's; as also the Answer of the Lord Bishop of St. David's put in thereunto; "That they had heard Counsel for Mr. Lucy, and also the Bishop of St. David's: That it appearing to their Lordships, by what the Bishop of St. David's hath done in this Case, he is only a Trustee; and therefore their Lordships are of Opinion, the Bishop hath no Privilege in this Case."
To which the House agreed.
And thereupon it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Bishop of St. David's shall not be allowed Privilege in this Case.
Sir C. Bradshaw versus Sutton.
Whereas this Day was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Sir Cornwall Bradshaw is Appellant, and William Sutton Respondent:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the Seven and Twentieth Day of this Instant May, at Eleven of the Clock.

Deye versus Thwaites:
After hearing Counsel this Day, upon the Petition of John Deye and Frances his Wife, Dame Susan Bridgeman, Sarah Pauncefort, Grimbolt Pauncefort Esquire, and Christopher Cratford Gentleman; praying an Explanation in an Order or Judgement of this House, the Five and Twentieth of April, One Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety, for a new Trial at Law; as also upon the Petition and Answer of Dorothy Thwaites Wife of James Thwaites, Captain of the Ship King William, now in East India, and of Josiah, Eme, and Elizabeth, Infants, their Children; and also upon another Petition of Dorothy Thwaites and her Children, put in to this House the Fourteenth Instant:
Judgement.
After due Consideration of what was offered thereupon, it is this Day Declared, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Trial intended by the said former Order or Judgement was to be upon the same Issue as it was tried on before: And ORDERED, That the said Trial be had within One Year now next coming; and, after that Trial had, either Party may resort to this House again.
Rogers's Bill.
The Lord Herbert reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Thomas Rogers Gentleman an absolute Estate of Inheritance, in Fee Simple, in the Manor of West Court, Mansion-house, Messuages, Lands, and Hereditaments, in the County of Kent; and securing to John Higgons Gentleman, Alice his Wife, and (for Portions for) Irene, Margaret, Mary, and Alice Cesar, Monies in Lieu of their Claims thereunto," as sit to pass, with some Amendments.
Which, being read Twice, were agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

The Lord Herbert reported from the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Sufficiency of the Bail offered for John Goudet, David Barreau, Stephen Seignoret, Rene Baudowyn, Nicholas Santini, Peter Dihearse, and John Pearse, the Names of such Persons (as were offered for their Sureties).
Which being read, and approved of by the House; they were called in, and entered into several Recognizances, as followeth; (videlicet,)

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Time allowed them, for answering to the said Articles, until Friday the Seven and Twentieth Day of this Instant May, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
