E. of Shaftesbury takes the Oaths.

This Day Anthony Earl of Shaftesbury took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute.

Sir Robert Marsham, Leave for a Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Robert Marsham Baronet, praying Leave to bring in a Bill to dispose of Lands in Hertfordshire; and to settle other Lands, of greater Value, in the County of Kent, to the same Uses:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner may bring in a Bill, as desired.

Disbrowe versus Kerin.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Nathaniel Disbrowe Esquire, from a Decree of Dismission made in the Court of Chancery in Ireland, the One and Twentieth Day of June, One Thousand Seven Hundred, in a Cause wherein the Appellant was Plaintiff, and Honora Kerin, John Kerin, Samuel Freeman, and Elizabeth his Wife, were Defendants; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Honora Kerin, John Kerin, Samuel Freeman, and Elizabeth his Wife, may have a Copy of the said Petition; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Tuesday the First Day of April next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that, in the mean Time, all Proceedings be stayed.

King's Answer.

The Lord Chamberlain acquainted the House, "That His Majesty hath appointed Four of the Clock this Afternoon, for the House to attend Him at Kensington, with their Address."
