James Taylor and John Partridge were sworn, to the Truth of Wm. Lord North and Grey's receiving the Sacrament of the LORD'S Supper.

Then his Lordship came to the Table, and took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Commissioners of Army Accompts, Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for reviving and continuing the late Acts, for appointing Commissioners, to take, examine, and determine, the Debts due to the Army, and for Transport Service; and also an Account of the Prizes taken during the late War."

Savoy Hospital, Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Her Majesty to settle the Lands and Revenues of the late dissolved Hospital of The Savoy to such Charitable and Public Uses as are therein mentioned; and for making the Chapel there a Parochial Church."

Sale of the forfeited Estates in Ireland, Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for advancing the Sale of the forfeited Estates in Ireland; and for vesting such as remain unsold by the present Trustees in Her Majesty, Her Heirs and Successors, for such Uses as the same were before vested in the said Trustees; and for the more effectual selling and setting the said Estates to Protestants; and for explaining several Acts relating to the Lord Bophin and Sir Redmond Everard."

Queen's Message, about a Recess.

The Earl of Nottingham (by Her Majesty's Command) acquainted the House, "That Her Majesty intended to put a speedy End to this Session of Parliament; and therefore Her Majesty desires, this House would dispatch what Business lies before the House."

Report concerning Resolutions, 18th Instant, to be delivered to the Commons at a Conference:

The Lord Steward reported from the Lords Committees, appointed to consider what farther Proceedings were fit to be had, on the Business of the Eighteenth Instant; (videlicet,)

"That the Committee, not finding by any Precedent that Messages delivered from one House to the other at a Conference have been answered otherwise than at another Conference, are of Opinion, That the Resolutions of the House, of the Eighteenth Instant, be delivered to the Commons, at a Conference."

To which Report the House agreed.

Message to them, for a Conference on the Subject.

Then, a Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Legard and Doctor Edisbury:

To desire a present Conference, in the Painted Chamber, upon the Subject-matter of the last Conference.

Subsidies Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for granting to Her Majesty several Subsidies, for carrying on the War against France and Spain."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow; the First Business.

Members of H. C. Qualification Bill:

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for providing, that no Persons shall be chose Members of the House of Commons, but such as have sufficient Real Estates."

Then, a Debate arising, "Whether this Bill shall be committed?"

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall be committed?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

E. Dorset & al. versus Savoy Hospital Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Charles Earl of Dorsett and Midd'x, Robert Crofts, and others; praying to be heard, to the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Her Majesty to settle the Lands and Revenues of the late dissolved Hospital of The Savoy to such Charitable and Public Uses as are therein mentioned; and for making the Chapel there a Parochial Church;" and hearing the Lord Keeper, in relation to the said Bill:

After Debate;

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall be read a Second Time on Saturday next?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petitioners shall be heard, by their Counsel, on Wednesday next, at Eleven a Clock, before the Second Reading of the said Bill.

Answer from H. C.

The Messengers sent to the House of Commons return Answer:

That the Commons will give a present Conference, as desired.

ORDERED, That the same Managers of the former Conference be Managers of this present Conference.

The Commons being come to the Conference; the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference.

Which being ended, the House was resumed.

Resolutions, concerning the late Conference, delivered to the Commons.

And the Lord Steward reported, "That they had attended the Conference, and delivered to the Commons the Resolutions of this House of the Eighteenth Instant."

Leigh to be heard, to the forfeited Estates in Ireland Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Robert Leigh, Eldest Son of Francis Leigh, late deceased; praying, "That he may be heard, by his Counsel, in order to have a Clause added for his Relief, to the Bill, intituled, An Act for advancing the Sale of the forfeited Estates in Ireland; and for vesting such as remain unsold by the present Trustees in Her Majesty, Her Heirs and Successors, for such Uses as the same were before vested in the said Trustees; and for the more effectual selling and setting the said Estates to Protestants; and for explaining several Acts relating to the Lord Bophin and Sir Redmond Everard:"

It is ORDERED, That the Petitioner shall be heard, as desired.

Militia Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for raising the Militia of this Kingdom for the Year One Thousand Seven Hundred and Three, notwith- standing the Month's Pay formerly advanced be not re-paid."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow.
