A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir Henry Dutton Colt and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for better securing the Duties of East India Goods;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

East India Goods, Duties to secure, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for better securing the Duties of East India Goods."

E. of Bindon & al. versus E. of Suffolk Davies, & al.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed, for hearing the Appeal depending in this House, wherein Henry Earl of Bindon and others are Appellants, and Henry Earl of Suffolke, Anne Countess Dowager of Suffolke, and John Davies and Margaret his Wife, and others, are Respondents:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on the Fourth Day of the sitting of this House after the Recess after Christmas next.

State of the War in Spain, and the Expedition to Toulon, to be considered.

The House being moved, "To take into Consideration the State of the War in Spain, and the Expedition to Thoulon:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the State of the War in Spain, and the Expedition to Thoulon, shall be taken into Consideration by the Committee of the whole House, who are to consider the State of the Nation; in relation to the Fleet and Trade of the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

State of the Fleet and Trade

Then the House, pursuant to Order, was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee to consider further of the State of the Nation, in relation to the Fleet, and the Trade of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, the State of the War in Spain, and the Expedition to Thoulon.

After some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee of the whole House had come to several Resolutions, which they had ordered him to report, when the House thought fit; and that the Committee desired another Time, for the House to be in a Committee again."

Ordered, That the said Report be made To-morrow Morning.

State of the Fleet, &c. to be further considered.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That on Monday next, at Twelve a Clock, this House shall be put into a Committee again, to consider further of the State of the Nation, in relation to the Fleet, and the Trade of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, the State of the War in Spain, and the Expedition to Thoulon.

Adjourn.
