Maxwell's, &c. Naturalization.

HODIE 2a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Naturalizing of James Maxwell, Robert Aiton, James Bowye, Robert Browne, William Rider, and Robert Josse, His Majesty's Servants in ordinary.

Tenures and Wardships.

The Lord Chancellor first put the Lords briefly in Mind of their Resolution taken on Thursday, for the Proceeding among themselves this Day, in the Matter of Tenures, and the Dependants thereon: And the Resolution continuing, his Lordship adjourned the Court until Monday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Morning. And the Lords addressing themselves to the Business aforesaid by way of Committee, the Lords the Judges were required to stay, for that their Advice might be requisite.

The Particulars delivered as aforesaid by the Committees of the Lower House, to the Committees of this House, which on Thursday were here read, were now severally proposed by the Lord Chancellor; and, by the Lord Chief Justice, every Particular (as the same was in Order read) was presently, upon the Reading thereof, expounded and made plain; and then also, by the said Lord Chief Justice, declared, what Profit came to the King by every such particular Matter, or Thing; to the End that afterwards the Lords might compare the same with the Offer, and so determine what to do therein.

Then the Clerk of the House was Ordered to deliver to the Lords several Copies of the Note of Particulars, which Mr. Recorder, from the Lower House, had delivered to the Lords Committees of this House at the last Meeting, and which had been expounded to their Lordships as aforesaid by the Lord Chief Justice, that their Lordships might the better consider thereof against the next Sitting.

Adjourn.

Dominus Cancellarius continuavit præsens Parliamentum usque in diem Lunæ, videlicet, 2m diem Aprilis, hora nona.
