THE Bill, intituled, An Act for the better repressing of the detestable Crime of Adultery, was returned to the House, by the Earl of Hartford, one of the Committees; who made Report, That they, finding the said Bill rather to concern some particular Persons than the public Good, thought meet to return the same as they received it; referring the further Consideration thereof to their Lordships.
