Appointed to meet upon Sunday, the 29th of this Instant, by Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, at the Council Chamber in Court. The Bill delivered to my Lord Treasurer.

Earl of Cumberland's Privilege. Wm. Allome.

Upon Complaint this Day made by the Earl of Cumbreland, that one William Allome, his Lordship's ordinary Servant, hath been lately arrested, and committed to the Prison of Newgate, upon Execution, by one Robert Beane, an Informer, and by William Cabbstacke, Smith and Special Bailiff, contrary to the Honour and Privilege of the said High Court; it is Ordered by the said Court, That a Writ of Habeas corpus shall be awarded, for the removing of the said Prisoner out of Prison, and for the bringing of him, by the Sheriffs of London (whose Prisoner now he is), before the Lords, in the Upper House, on Saturday next, the 28th of this Instant April, by Nine of the Clock in the Morning; and that the Serjeant at Arms attending the House shall then also bring before the Lords, in the House, the above - mentioned Robert Beane and William Cabbstacke, to answer for their Contempt of the Privilege of the said Court.

Sir Thomas Sherley's Bill.

The Bill concerning Sir Thomas Sherley brought into the House, by the Earl of Shrewsbury, the first of the Committees, without any Alteration or Amendment.

Nevile and Fane, for the Barony of Abergevenny.

Whereas, at the Hearing of the Cause in Question, concerning the Barony of Bergeveny, on Thursday last, 19th April, some Stay was made of Proceeding therein at that Time, by reason that Mr. Attorney General did then (upon the Pleading thereof) find some Cause to speak in the King's Behalf, for some Title and Claim that might be made for His Majesty to the Castle of Bergeveny; and it was thereupon thought meet, that His Majesty should be first made acquainted therewith, before any farther Hearing or Proceeding were had therein: It was this Day signified unto the Court, by the Lord Chancellor, that the King's Majesty, having accordingly been informed of the said Occasion of Stay at the last Hearing, was nevertheless graciously pleased, that there should be Proceeding in the Matter of the Title of the Barony, according to the former Direction given by His Highness; and, to that End, it was Ordered by the Court, That Warning should be given to the Parties of both Sides, with their Counsel Learned, to give their Attendance on the said Court again, upon Monday next, the last of this Month, by Eight of the Clock in the Morning.
