Newton's Naturalization.
The said Bill, and the Bill for Naturalizing of Adam Newton, Esquire, was sent to the Lower House, by Mr. Serjeant Crooke and Dr. Hone.
Continuing, Reviving, &c. Laws.
The Message, which was directed to have been delivered unto the Lower House upon Tuesday last, 26 Junii (but then deferred by reason the said House was risen before the Message could be delivered), concerning a Conference to be had about the Bill for Continuance of divers Statutes, &c. was sent this Day, by the said Mr. Serjeant Crooke and Dr. Hone; for which Purpose, the Lords signified, That they had selected the Number of Thirty Committees, or thereabouts (hereunder named); and desired Meeting, with a competent Number of the Lower House, upon Saturday next, the 30th of this Instant June, by Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, at the Outward Chamber, near the Parliament Presence.

Jesuits, Recsants, &c.
The Lords gave also Direction to the said Messengers, to signify unto the House of the Commons, That their Lordships have considered of their Twofold Message sent upon Saturday last, the 21st of this Instant, touching the Matter of the Convocation, and of the Book written by the Lord Bishop of Bristoll, whereunto the Lords then promised to return Answer in convenient Time; and that their Lordships do desire Conference may likewise be had of those Two Matters with the same Committees, and at the Time and Place aforesaid. Unto this Message the House of the Commons signified, That they would return Answer forthwith, by some Members of their own House; and thereupon Sir Francis Hastings and others were immediately sent to the Lords, to give them Knowledge, that they have considered of their Lordships Message for Meeting about the Bill for Continuance of Statutes, and of the other Two Matters; and that they will attend the Lords, at the Time and Place prefixed. They also desired, that the same Committees may then confer of the Bill concerning Recusants, &c. sent from the Lords; unto which Motion the Lords answered, That they are well pleased to give Conference also about the said Bill of Recusants.

Persons infected with the Plague.
The Bill, intituled, An Act for the Charitable Relief and Ordering of Persons infected with the Plague, was returned to the House, by the Lord Treasurer, the first of the Committees, with a Proviso offered to be added; which Proviso was presently Twice read, and the same thereupon appointed to be ingrossed.
Letters Patents.
Also the Bill for Confirmation of Letters Patents was brought into the House, by his Lordship, with certain Amendments; which were presently Twice read; and thereupon the Bill, with the said Amendments, appointed to be ingrossed.
Drunkards, &c.
The Bill against the Abuses of Alehouses, &c. was brought into the House, by the Earl of Shrewsburie, the first of the Committees, with a Proviso thought meet to be added; which Proviso was forthwith Twice read; and, upon the Second Reading, re-committed, for further Consideration to be had of the said Proviso.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Naturalizing of William Brown, Anne Browne, and Barbara Browne, Children of Sir William Browne, Knight, Lieutenant Governor of his Majesty's Cautionary Town of Flushinge.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for avoiding of Multiplicity of Leases, made by Archbishops and Bishops, of such Lands and Possessions as are belonging to their Archbishopricks and Bishopricks.
