A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Carew and others.
To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Sale of the Real Estate of Richard Powys Esquire, deceased, for Payment of his Debts and Daughters Portions, and for other Purposes therein mentioned," and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, without any Amendment.
and Mitchell's Bill.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the same Gentleman and others.
To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to empower the Guardians of William Mitchell and other Infants to make Leases of their Estates, in the several Counties of Huntingdon, Surrey, Middlesex, Cambridge, Leicester, Kent, Somerset, and Norfolk, during their Minorities," and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, without any Amendment.

Edward Cave, in Custody of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, for printing and publishing, in The Gentleman's Magazine for March last, an Account of the Trial of Simon Lord Lovat, was (according to Order) brought to the Bar, where he, on his Knees, receiving a Reprimand from the Lord Chancellor for his said Offence, was discharged out of Custody, paying his Fees.

And thereupon an Affidavit, made by Mathew Barnewall of Stoneybatter in the County of Dublin Gentleman, of the due Service of the said Order, being read.
Ordered, That the said Earl do peremptorily put in his Answer to the said Appeal in a Week.

The House being informed, "That Mr Edward Clancy attended, in order to deliver in several Papers, Pleadings, and Proceedings, in the Cause wherein George Rose Esquire is Appellant, and Angel Countess Dowager of Roscommon Respondent"

He was called in, and delivered, at the Bar, the said Papers, Pleadings, and Proceedings, and attested upon Oath, "The same were true Copies, he having examined them with the Originals in the proper Offices in Ireland"

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing the Term, and enlarging the Powers, granted by an Act passed in the Twelfth Year of His late Majesty's Reign, intituled, An Act for repairing and widening the Roads from the City of Gloucester to the City of Hereford, and for repairing other Roads in the County of Gloucester," to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
The Two last mentioned Bills were both read a First Time.
