Ordered, That the King's Counsel draw a Bill (and present the same to the House), to make the Lands of the Earl of Middlesex liable unto his Debts, unto his Fine to the King, unto Accompts unto the King hereafter, and to Restitution unto such whom he had wronged, as shall be allowed of by the House.

Committee for Conference touching the Bp. of Norwich.

The Lord Bishop of Norwich besought the House to remember the Message of the Commons the Eighth of this May, for a Conference touching some Accusations against his Lordship, which their Lordships them deferred by reason of the Thinness of the House at that Time; and desired their Lordships to appoint a Time for the same, with what Expedition they conveniently may: Whereupon the House named these Committees; videlicet,

E. of Northampton's Privilege.

Flemynge, who had arrested the Earl of North'ton's Servant, acknowledged his Fault at the Bar, and was discharged.

Sir Francis Englefield to answer a Charge against him.

Ordered, That Sir Francis Englefeild be brought to answer his slanderous Brief, published by him against the Court of Chancery, and against William Arundell, Esquire, and the Lady St. John, his Wife.

L. Cromwell's Privilege.

Upon Complaint made to the House, That John Brewer had arrested Edward Teryngham, Servant to the Lord Cromewell, contrary to the Privileges of Parliament; it is Ordered, That the said John Brewer be brought hither To-morrow, at Nine, to answer his Contempt.

Teryngham arrested.

And for that the said Edward Teryngham was detained in the Sheriff's Custody, upon Arrests of Mesne Process only; a Warrant, signed by the Clerk, was directed to the Serjeant at Arms attendant on this House, to bring before their Lordships the Body of the said Edward Teryngham at the said Time.

E. of Holderness's Privilege. Sill arrested.

Upon Complaint also that Wellsbourne Sill, Servant to the Earl of Holdernes, is arrested, and in Execution; it is Ordered, That a Habeas corpus cum causa be awarded, and directed to the Sheriffs of London, in whose Custody he is, to bring the said Wellsbourne Sill before their Lordships To-morrow, by Nine.

Adjourn.
