Turvey Enclosure Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. St. John and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for dividing, allotting and enclosing the Open and Common Fields, Common Meadows, Common Pastures, Waste and other Commonable Lands and Grounds in the Parish of Turvey, in the County of Bedford;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

The said Bill was read the First Time.

Lady Gray against Blair et al:

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Margaret Lady Gray, the Widow of John Lord Gray, complaining of Two Interlocutors of the Lords of Session in Scotland, of the 18th of January 1780, and 18th January 1782; and also of Eight Interlocutors of the Lord Ordinary there, of the 31st January, the 14th and 28th of June, the 13th and 28th of July, and 10th of August 1781, the 18th of December 1782, and 23d of January 1783, in as far as they find that the Act 1695 does not apply to the Fields therein mentioned; and praying, "That the same may be reversed, varied, or amended, or that the Appellant may have such other Relief in the Premises, as to this House, in their Lordships great Wisdom, shall seem meet; and that Mrs. Isabel Blair, Spouse to Mr. Thomas Beat, and the said Mr. Thomas Beat for his Interest, and John Blair of Balthayock Esquire, may be required to answer the said Appeal:"

It is Ordered, That the said Mrs. Isabel Blair, Thomas Beat, and John Blair, may have a Copy of the said Appeal, and do put in their Answer or respective Answers thereunto in Writing, on or before Monday the 3d Day of March next; and Service of this Order upon the said Respondents, or upon any of their known Counsel or Agents in the Court of Session in Scotland, shall be deemed good Service.

Chalmer to enter into Recognizance on it.

The House being moved, "That James Chalmer of Leicester Fields, Gentleman, may be permitted to enter into a Recognizance for Margaret Lady Gray, on account of her Appeal depending in this House, she residing in Scotland:"

It is Ordered, That the said James Chalmer may enter into a Recognizance for the said Appellant, as desired.

D. Norfolk's Petition referred to Judges.

Upon reading the Petition of the Most Noble Charles Duke of Norfolk, Earl Marshal and Hereditary Earl Marshal of England, praying Leave to bring in a Bill for the Purposes in the said Petition mentioned:

It is Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be and is hereby referred to the Lord Chief Baron of the Court of Exchequer, and Mr. Baron Hotham, who are forthwith to summon all Parties concerned in the Bill; and after hearing them are to report to the House the State of the Case with their Opinion thereupon under their Hands; and whether all Parties who may be concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.

Sir T. Rumbold and Perring's restraining Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Lord Advocate for Scotland and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing an Act passed in the Twenty-second Year of the Reign of His present Majesty, intituled, "An Act for restraining Sir Thomas Rumbold Baronet, and Peter Perring Esquire, from going out of this Kingdom for a limited Time, and for discovering their Estates and Effects, and preventing the transporting or alienating the same;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Scotch Bankrupt Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Lord Advocate for Scotland and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for rendering the Payment of Creditors more equal and expeditious in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland; and for making perpetual so much of an Act made in the Twelfth Year of His present Majesty's Reign, as relates to Bills and Promissory Notes;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

The said Two Bills were, severally, read the First Time.

King's Bench Briton, Petition of the Prisoners.

Upon reading the Petition of the Prisoners in the Custody of the Marshal of the Marshalsea of the King's Bench Prison for Debt, on Behalf of themselves and others, whose Names are thereunto subscribed; praying, for the Reasons therein contained, "That their distressed and ruined Situation may engage the Interposition of the Legislature in their Behalf; and that their Case may now be taken into the Consideration of this Right Honourable House:"

It is Ordered, That the said Petition do lie on the Table.

Watford Road Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Halsey and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enlarge the Term and Powers of an Act passed in the Second Year of the Reign of His present Majesty, for amending, widening, altering and keeping in Repair the Road from the South End of Sparrow's Herne, on Bushey Heath, through the Market Towns of Watford, Berkhampsted, Saint Peter's and Tring, in the County of Hertford, by Pettipher's Elms, to the Turnpike Road at Walton near Aylesbury, in the County of Bucks;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Leeds Road Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Duncombe and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing the Term and altering and enlarging the Powers of several Acts of Parliament therein mentioned, so far as the same relate to the repairing and amending the Roads leading from Leeds through Bradford and Horton, and through Bowling and Wibsey to Halifax; and also the Roads called Bowling Lane and Little Horton Lane, in the West Riding of the County of York;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

The said Two Bills were, severally, read the First Time.

Seehl's Naturalization Bill.

The Lord Scarsdale reported from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Ephraim Rinhold Seehl," was committed: That they had considered the said Bill, and examined the Allegations thereof, which were found to be true; and that the Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Ordered, That the said Bill be engrossed.

Fasnacht's Naturalization Bill.

The Lord Scarsdale made the like Report from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing David Emanuel Fasnacht," was committed.

Canterbury Road Bill.

The Lord Scarsdale also made the like Report from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, An Act for continuing and amending Two Acts of the Ninth and Twenty-seventh Years of His late Majesty, for repairing and widening the Road leading from Saint Dunstan's Cross, near the City of Canterbury, to the Water Side at Whitstable, in the County of Kent," was committed.

Hankey for a Divorce Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of John Hankey of the City of London, Merchant; praying Leave to bring in a Bill to dissolve his Marriage with Elizabeth Thomson his now Wife, and to enable him to marry again:

It is Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of the said Petition.

E. Moray et al. against Stuarts.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Francis Earl of Moray, and the Honourable General John Stuart and Captain Archibald Stuart, complaining of Two Interlocutors of the Lord Ordinary in Scotland, of the 13th of July and 1st of August 1782; and also of an Interlocutor of the Lords of Session there, of the 16th of January 1783; and praying, "That the same may be reversed, varied or altered, or that the Appellants may have such other Relief in the Premises as to this House, in their Lordships great Wisdom, shall seem meet; and that James, John, William and Thomas Stuart the Sons, and Anne Amelia Stuart, the only Daughter of the Marriage between James Stuart and and Mrs. Anne Stuart Daughter of Lady Anne Stuart, who was Daughter of the late Francis Earl of Moray, may be required to answer the said Appeal:"

Doncaster Road Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Mellish and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enlarge the Term and Powers of Two Acts made in the Fourteenth and Twenty-sixth Years of the Reign of King George the Second, for repairing the Roads from Doncaster through Ferrybridge, to the South Side of Tadcaster Cross; and also from Ferrybridge to Wetherby, and from thence to Boroughbridge, in the County of York, so far as the same relate to the Road between Ferrybridge and Wetherby, and from thence to Boroughbridge;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Expiring Laws Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Ord and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to continue several Laws relating to the regulating the Fees of Officers of the Customs and Naval Officers in America; to the allowing the Exportation of certain Quantities of Wheat and other Articles to His Majesty's Sugar Colonies in America; to the permitting the Exportation of Tobacco Pipe Clay from this Kingdom to the British Sugar Colonies or Plantations in the West Indies; and to the repealing the Duties upon Pot and Pearl Ashes, Wood and Weed Ashes imported into Great Britain, and for granting other Duties in lieu thereof;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

The said Three Bills were, severally, read the First Time.
