Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of William Nicol, the Administrator of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of George Nicol, late of Pall Mall, in the County of Middlesex, Bookseller, deceased; complaining of an Order of the Court of Chancery, of the 29th Day of June 1829, which Order was not enrolled until the 25th Day of August 1830; and praying, "That the same may be reversed or varied, or that the Appellant may have such Relief in the Premises, as to this House, in their Lordships great Wisdom, shall seem meet; and that Sir Robert Williams Vaughan, His Majesty's Attorney General, John Bellenden Ker, John Bulteil, George Finch, Charles Fielding, Heneage Finch, Matilda Fielding, John Drummond and Georgiana Augusta his Wife, Lord Robert Stephen Fitzgerald and Lady Sophia Charlotte his Wife, Georgiana Matilda Drummond, Augusta Sophia Hicks and James Henry Garrety, may be required to answer the said Appeal:"

Upon reading the Petition of the Roman Catholic Inhabitants of the Parish of Kilmeena, County of Mayo, and Archdiocese of Tuam, whose Names are thereunto subscribed; praying their Lordships, "That the Grant Annually made to the Kildare Street Society may be placed in the Hands of such Persons as would make it available to the Purposes humanely intended by the Legislature, which is for the Education of the Poor of Ireland, and thereby enable the Petitioners to educate their poor Children, and fit them to become useful and attached Subjects:"

Upon reading the Petition of the Roman Catholic Inhabitants of the Town and Parish of Westport, whose Names are thereunto subscribed; praying their Lordships to grant for the Education of the Catholic Poor of Ireland a fair Portion of the Funds voted for the Education of the Poor of Ireland, which are not at present applied to that Object, but, on the contrary, create by their Existence unkind Feelings, by affording a ready Excuse to the wealthier of the Petitioners Neighbourhood for not contributing to the Support of Institutions, where alone the Catholic Poor can conscientiously receive Instruction:"

Agricultural Labourers, Petition of Society for Encouragement of Industry respecting.

A Petition of the Society for Encouragement of Industry and Reduction of Poor's Rates, King's Head Tavern, Poultry, London, was presented and read; praying their Lordships "to appoint a Committee to investigate the Circumstances of the Agricultural Labourers, and provide the necessary Remedies for the pressing Debasement, Privation and Dismay they now labour under."

Upon reading the Petition of the Churchwardens, Overseers and Governors and Guardians of the Poor, and Inhabitant Householders of the Parish of Saint Mary, Newington, in the County of Surrey, whose Names are thereunto subscribed; praying their Lordships, "That the Act of the Tenth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty, intituled, "An Act for improving the Police in and near the Metropolis," may be repealed; or that the said New Police may be withdrawn from the said Parish:"
