Bodvile about his Children.

Ordered, That Mr. Bodvile shall be heard on Tuesday, concerning his Children; at which Time the Counsel on the other Side shall be heard.

Nowell to be instituted to Lechamsted;

Ordered, That Doctor Aylett shall give Institution and Induction to Joseph Nowell Clerk, Master of Arts, to the Rectory of Leckhampsted, in the County of Bucks, void by the Death of George Holme Clerk; the said Mr. Nowell producing his Presentation thereunto under the Hand and Seal of Harcourt Greenway the Patron; provided the said Joseph Nowell do take the Covenant: And this with a salvo Jure cujuscunque.

and Yeowell to Ebbesham.

Ordered, That Doctor Heath shall give Institution and Induction to Robert Yeowell Clerk, Master of Arts, to the Vicarage of Ebbesham, in the County of Kent, void by the Cessation and voluntary Resignation of Samuell Scudamore Clerk, the late Incumbent; he taking the League and Covenant; the said Yeowell producing his Presentation thereunto under the Hand and Seal of Edward Darcy Esquire, the Patron: And that with a salvo Jure cujuscunque.

Gibbons & al. and Braughton & al. about the Isle of Axholme.

The Order made Yesterday, concerning the Business between Mr. Gibbons and Charles Braughton, &c.

And the Question being put, "Whether this Order is entered according the Sense of the House Yesterday?"

And it was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Then the Counsel, with Mr. Gibbons and Charles Braughton, were called in, to be heard concerning the Contempt of Charles Braughton, &c. to the Order of this House, made concerning the Isle of Axolme, of the 10th December, 1645.

Ordered, That Charles Braughton, and the rest that (fn. 1) were sent for as Delinquents upon Mr. Gibbons' Complaint, shall be released.

Messengers to the H. C. not admitted.

Sir Edward Leech and Mr. Page gave the House an Account, "That they attended Yesterday the Rising of the House of Commons, and also this Morning; but they cannot be admitted."

Hereupon this House Ordered, That a Conference be had with the House of Commons; and that a Committee be appointed to view the Journal Book, and see wherein the Privileges of this House hath been broken by the Proceedings of the House of Commons; and likewise to present to the House of Commons, at the said Conference, the great Obstructions of Business by the House of Commons not admitting the Messengers of this House when they are sent by this House: And the said Committee are to prepare the Matter for this Conference, and report the same to this House.

Committee to consider wherein the Privileges of this House have been broke by the H C.
